Ganztägige Schnorcheltour in Cahuita, Faultier-Schutzgebiet von Puerto Viejo de Limón

Beschreibung

Our tour guide Rodrigo was superb. He gave detailed information about the area and everything we saw throughout our day. Overall, this tour was a cornerstone to a great trip to Costa Rica. Highly recommend.

It’s fantastic to know this tour became a highlight of your trip to Costa Rica. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you again for another memorable adventure!
Here you can see colorful tropical fish, rays and starfish, hedgehogs, molluscs and other marine species, unique coral formations of the Caribbean and much more. Suitable for the whole family.
The snorkling was great, although they were short a life jacket, thankfully most people on the boat were good swimmers. The hike was a super easy hike and our guide pointed out a couple sloths and a small group of monkeys. We were able to see through his telescope, although he did not help take pictures through the telescope. Guide was very informative about the area and animals. The pineapple on our break was delicious (but DON'T feed the monkeys). Sloth sanctuary was nice and informative, it was nice to see the sloths up close. Communication regarding pickup location through Viator was a bit challenging and frustrating and would have been easier to just communicate directly with the tour operator. All in all a good experience and we enjoyed ourselves.
Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed review. We’re very glad to hear you enjoyed the snorkeling, wildlife sightings, and visit to the Sloth Sanctuary — it sounds like you had a wonderful experience overall. We also appreciate your honest feedback about the communication before the tour. We understand how important clear and timely information is, and we’re already reviewing this internally to make the process smoother for future guests booking through Viator.
Really great trip all around! Communication with the trip service was easy, and pickup was right on time. Great snorkeling trip!
Thank you for sharing your experience! We’re so glad to hear everything went smoothly—from the communication to your on-time pickup—and that you enjoyed the snorkeling adventure. It’s wonderful to know you had a great trip all around.
I went with my teenage daughter to the full day tour. It's really worth it. The guide was super nice and knowledgeable. We saw sharks and other fish in the reef. The hiking in Cauhita park was easy and we saw monkeys and sloths and more. The last stop was the sloths sanctuary. I highly recommend, as it also helps the place financially. And it's very interesting. We ended in a restaurant in Cahuita. Tasty food with pool table. Communication with the operator: A day before they contacted us through WhatsApp. As we were staying in Cahuita, we were supposed to arrive alone to the beginning of the tour. However, they picked us up from our hotel. That was cool.

Our experience was changed due to weather. We were given multiple options and decided to do Cahuita National Park, Sloth Sanctuary and waterfall experience. The day was amazing. Our guide took us through the national park and pointed out animals and reptiles we never would have seen on our own. His extensive knowledge of local and Country history brought understanding of how important these areas are . The sloth sanctuary was beyond words. To be so close to such unusual creatures is a treasured moment. Costa Rica does not allow Human contact and the sanctuary maintains this. It is best for these animals to be as wild as possible. Our final destination was a waterfall. The guide advised us that the trail was not easy but provided walking sticks- such patience with us over 60s. The waterfall was breathtaking and our guide cut up a delicious pineapple to enjoy after our swim. It was a spectacular experience

We enjoyed seeing the animals and birds. It helped to see them through the guide’s telescope. The trail was easy to walk on. Our guide Shayan was very helpful.
