Die Tour beginnt von jeder Unterkunft in Mombasa und besucht: Fort Jesus Historisches Museum, Altstadt, Spaziergang auf dem Markt und Mittagessen in einem lokalen Gericht Restaurant in Mombasa, Mombasa Riesenelefant Tusk Denkmal und Nachmittags Besuch des Haller Park.

Reiseverlauf
Sie werden von Ihrem Hotel abgeholt und zum Fort Jesus gebracht. Es ist Mombasas ältestes Museum und zeigt die Kultur und die Herkunft der Einheimischen, wobei der Ursprung von Swahili erwähnt wird. Mit einem Guide können Sie das historische Muster verfolgen, das zum Einfluss der Sultane führt. Darüber hinaus lernen Sie durch verschiedene Ausstellungen die Kultur der Menschen vor Ort kennen.
Sie genießen einen Spaziergang in engen Gassen der Mombasa Altstadt, passieren den berühmten Fischmarkt, bevor Sie die Elefantenstoßzähne als Denkmäler des alten (jetzt illegalen) Elfenbeinhandels sehen. Danach spazieren Sie auf dem Markt mit Mittagessen bei lokalen Gerichten, um die lokale Küche zu probieren
Nach dem Mittagessen werden Sie in den Haller Park gebracht. Dies ist kein Zoo, sondern ein freies Wandertierschutzgebiet, das aus der Idee geboren wurde, einen großen alten riesigen ehemaligen Zementsteinbruch zu erhalten. Es gibt viele Tiere zu sehen und je nach Aufregung dauert dies zwischen 2 und 3 Stunden, von wo aus Sie zurück zu Ihrem Hotel fahren.

We had an excellent tour of Mombasa and Haller Park with Anthony. Got our pictures taken with the tusks and marveled at the bats hanging out in the park. We liked the area around Fort Jesus but be aware that unfortunately the old town was dirty and in disrepair. We especially enjoyed Haller Park. We fed giraffes and watched Owen the hippo be fed. Anthony was great in accommodating our requests. The day was hot so we canceled several of the activities.
