Die Sultan Ahmed Moschee ist eine historische Moschee in Istanbul, Türkei. Es bleibt eine funktionierende Moschee und zieht gleichzeitig eine große Anzahl von Touristen an. Es wurde zwischen 1609 und 1616 während der Herrschaft von Ahmed I. erbaut. In seinem Külliye befinden sich Ahmeds Grab, eine Medresse und ein Hospiz.
Die Hagia Sophia ist die ehemalige griechisch-orthodoxe christlich-patriarchalische Kathedrale, später eine osmanische kaiserliche Moschee und heute ein Museum in Istanbul, Türkei. Es wurde 537 n. Chr. Im Mittelalter erbaut und ist berühmt für seine massive Kuppel. Es war das größte Gebäude der Welt und ein Wunder der Technik seiner Zeit.
Der Topkapı-Palast oder das Serail ist ein großes Museum im Osten des Fatih-Bezirks von Istanbul in der Türkei. Im 15. und 16. Jahrhundert diente es als Hauptwohnsitz und Verwaltungssitz der osmanischen Sultane.
Der Große Basar in Istanbul ist mit 61 überdachten Straßen und über 4.000 Geschäften auf einer Gesamtfläche von 30.700 m² einer der größten und ältesten überdachten Märkte der Welt und zieht täglich zwischen 250.000 und 400.000 Besucher an.
