Auf unserer All-Inclusive-Wildtiersafari haben Sie die Möglichkeit, nach den Big 5 Ausschau zu halten, dies sind: Löwen, Büffel, Elefanten, Nashörner und Leoparden. Halten Sie Ausschau nach vielen anderen Tieren wie Giraffen, Flusspferden sowie Geparden. Sie werden in einem privaten Fahrzeug mit einem qualifizierten akkreditierten Reiseleiter zum Wildreservat gebracht, aber wenn Sie das Wildreservat erreichen, werden Sie mit anderen Personen in einem offenen Safari-Truck mit Allradantrieb zusammenkommen.

Bereiten Sie sich auf eine Abholung am frühen Morgen um 6:30 Uhr in Ihrer Unterkunft in Kapstadt vor, während wir 2 Stunden lang eine malerische Fahrt entlang der Nationalstraße N1 zum Aquila Game Reserve unternehmen. Wir kommen an malerischen Weinbergplantagen vorbei und auf dem Rückweg können Sie sogar eine Weinprobe machen.
Bei unserer Ankunft im Aquila Game Reserve erhalten die Gäste ein Begrüßungsgetränk und werden zum Restaurant für ein komplettes Frühstücksbuffet geführt (Halal- und vegetarische Optionen verfügbar). Nach dem Frühstück brechen wir zu einer 2 bis 3-stündigen Shared Safari Game Drive auf. Die Safari wird von einem erfahrenen Wildhüter geleitet, der spannende Geschichten und Fakten über das Reservat und die Tiere erzählt und auf die Tiere in Sichtweite hinweist. Nach unserer afrikanischen Buschsafari kehren die Gäste für ein komplettes Mittagsbuffet ins Restaurant zurück (Halal- und vegetarische Optionen verfügbar). Nach dem Mittagessen können Sie sich gerne auf der Terrasse entspannen; Lounge am Pool oder einen Drink in der Bar.
Auf dem Rückweg nach Kapstadt genießen Sie eine kostenlose Käse- und Weinprobe im Fairview Wine and Cheese Estate.
Die Abgabe erfolgt gegen 18:00 Uhr in Ihrer Unterkunft.

This was easily already the highlight of our trip; we’re in Cape Town for just over 2 weeks, we’re a few days in. The transfer to and from the reserve were so easy, Gift, our tour guide operator was super responsive on WhatsApp throughout. When we arrived at Aquila, we were given a welcome drink and told what time lunch and the bus for the safari were, very friendly staff at every interaction. The actual safari was breathtaking; even though I understand it isn’t an ‘authentic’ safari like in the Serengeti etc, it showcases the animals in a conserved environment, safe from poachers etc. We saw 4/5 of the big 5, which was absolutely amazing, our safari bus driver was so knowledgeable and friendly. Would recommend for anyone visiting Cape Town!

The day long tour was excellent which was made 10X better by the tour guide,Issac who went out his way to give us great historical context about every location and sight that we saw. He was very patient and knowledgable in answering all our questions. He provided even off track experience and made us feel like a local and not a tourist. Thanks to him, I am beginning to think like and love Cape Town and South Africa the more....I am definitely coming back again to continue my learning journey.

Gordon was an exceptional tour guide and driver. On our drive to and from our safari, he conversed well with our entire family, providing us with insightful details about Cape Town and South Africa. Sadly it was an ok game park, but when it came to the big five promotion it was a bit of a let down. Lots of Rhino, but I believe it was only 3 elephants and the Lions were also few in numbers. The whole experience was rushed, when someone shouted they spotted something it was ignored they had to stick to the plan. Animals are well looked after.

Disappointed to see some animals here and there, obviously nor in their natural habitat. Some of them looking lost and bored.Didn't get to see leperds among the big five.

While it offers exciting Big 5 safaris and close wildlife encounters, the animals are kept in a well-maintained reserve rather than their natural wild habitats in the expansive national parks. We understand that wild animal sightings can be unpredictable, and some animals may appear less active during certain times. We always recommend our guests to manage expectations regarding wildlife behavior and sightings, especially in private reserves with smaller areas compared to wild national parks.
