Tollymore Forest erschien in Staffel 1 von Game of Thrones® sowohl als Haunted Forest nördlich der Mauer als auch als Wolfswood außerhalb von Winterfell. Diese Tour ist eine 90-minütige Wanderung durch drei berühmte Orte. Sie werden mit unseren Kunden der Winterfell-Bustour am Morgen (10 Uhr morgens) auf dem Trekking vor Ort sein. Die gesamte Gehstrecke beträgt 3,2 km. Das Gelände ist manchmal uneben, mit einem steilen Abstieg in den Wald und einem abschließenden Aufstieg vom Parkplatz aus. Dementsprechend ist diese Tour nicht für Personen mit eingeschränkter Mobilität zu empfehlen. Sie können den Bus am Namen EAMONN ROONEY in großen Buchstaben an der Seite erkennen. Unser Reiseleiter schenkt Ihnen im Rahmen der Tour kostenlos einen Umhang aus Schurwolle. Bitte zögern Sie nicht, den Reiseleiter zu fragen, bevor die Tour beginnt. Bitte tragen Sie Outdoor-Schuhe und kleiden Sie sich entsprechend dem nordirischen Wetter.

Diese Wanderung besucht drei ikonische Game of Thrones®-Schauplätze tief im Wald von Tollymore. Das erste ist der Ort des Eröffnungs-Prologs der allerersten Episode, der Wildling-Grube, in der die Nachtwache zerstückelte Wildling-Körper im Schnee findet. Der zweite Ort ist ein Lagerfeuer, an dem sich Tyrion und Jon auf dem Weg nach Norden zur Mauer unterhalten. Der dritte Ort ist die Brücke, auf der die Starks einen toten Direwolf und ihre Welpen finden.

This was absolutely amazing! The guide was so knowledgeable, entertaining, and patient (even when i got distracted accidentally wandered off track for a bit!). The forest is gorgeous, and it was amazing to see all the key filming areas. Great value for money and I would highly recommend to any GOT fan!

We really enjoyed the Game of Thrones – Tollymore Forest Trek. was very friendly and had a lot to tell, as he had actually worked as an extra on Game of Thrones. The hike through the beautiful Tollymore Forest was interesting not just because of the famous filming locations, but also because of all the fascinating stories about the show and the area. We thought it was great that we got so much for such a reasonable price. For all Game of Thrones fans, but also for nature lovers, this tour is definitely worth it.

Robby, our guide, lives and breathes GOT and he made the forest tour a 10/10 experience. It was great to walk around some iconic scenes & scenery for the series, full of extra bits of useful insight from Robby. The forest park itself is a beautiful, enchanting place recognised as a great backdrop (or the inspiration) for scenes in Games of Thrones and other amazing films also. It's fairly easy walking whilst listening, looking or taking photos, and at £10 it is very good value. I highly recommend Robby as a super guide and the tour itself as 5 star. Big Thanks Robby

Great walk through the beautiful Tollymore Forest. Lar was an excellent guide, very informative. He made it fun for the kids aswell. We made an error on our the booking and Rob was so helpful. Really positive experience!

Had a really nice time at the walk and good fun dressing up in the cloaks. Tour guide was very good and informative. Would definitely recommend to any fans of GOT.

Be prepared for a lot of walking but the views and the forest are beautiful.

This was a great tour. Our tour guide was awesome! We have 2 people in our family that never watch the show and they still got a lot out of it. A definite must do your when in Ireland. The national park is breathtaking!

We came from Dublin and had 3 places on the list. Tollymore forest was last on the list, but the best. It’s one of my favourite forests from now on. Absolutely spectacular views. Huge car park, land so well looked after. Can’t wait to get back.
