Die bulgarische St.-Stephan-Kirche, auch bekannt als bulgarische Eisenkirche, ist ein weiteres schönes monumentales Gebäude, das noch immer in Istanbul genutzt wird.
Das Gebäude, in dem sich das Balat- und das Fener-Griechisch-Gymnasium befinden, steht noch heute und sticht als schönes Beispiel neoklassizistischer Architektur hervor.
Die Ahrida-Synagoge in Istanbul, Türkei, ist eine bedeutende Attraktion, die sowohl historische als auch kulturelle Bedeutung besitzt.
Das Ökumenische Patriarchat ist eine der fünfzehn autokephalen Kirchen, die zusammen die Ostorthodoxe Kirche bilden. Sie wird vom Ökumenischen Patriarchen von Konstantinopel geleitet, dem ersten unter Gleichen in der Hierarchie der Orthodoxen Kirche, derzeit Bartholomäus, Erzbischof von Konstantinopel. It was a great ealk around the neighbourhood, we learnt a lot about history. Our guide was perfect, thanks a lot! We had a break in the middle of the tour for a coffee break, which was convenient.

I had a great time on my tour with Behlül! He was prompt in meeting me at the location, & since I was the only person who signed up, it turned into a private tour! We walked all through Fener/Balat & I got great photos, learned a lot, & enjoyed a Turkish coffee overlooking the Bosphorus at the end! Highly recommend this tour if you enjoy walking around cities!
