Treffen Sie uns an unserem günstigen Standort in der Innenstadt und suchen Sie sich Fahrräder aus, während wir uns darauf vorbereiten, in die Stadt zu fahren. Treffen Sie Ihren Guide und Mitfahrer.
Wenn Sie durch das Herz von China Town und in den Tom McCall Waterfront Park fahren, ist unser erster Halt am Japanese American Historical Plaza, wo Sie ein wenig Geschichte und einen Blick auf das sich ständig verändernde Stadtbild werfen können.
Im weiteren Verlauf erleben die Teilnehmer Weltklasse-Radwege und malerische Ausblicke auf die Skyline von Portland entlang des längsten schwimmenden Fahrrad- und Gehwegs der USA.
Weiter entlang der Eastbank fahren wir am Oregon Museum of Science and Industry vorbei, um eine kurze Erklärung dieses historischen Museums zu erhalten
Wenn wir uns weiter entlang des Flusses Willammette schlängeln, überqueren wir die Brücke, die nach dem Chinook-Wort für „der Menschen“ benannt ist. Genießen Sie von oben die Aussicht auf die lokalen Vulkane Mt. Hood und den berühmten Mt. St. Helens.
Nachdem wir die Willammette überquert haben, fahren wir zur Portland State University, um die Park Blocks zu genießen, und wenn es die Tour am Samstag um 10 Uhr ist, können Sie die Pracht von Oregons größtem Bauernmarkt genießen.
Weiter entlang der meisterhaft gestalteten Stadtanlage und Fahrradinfrastruktur von Portland rollen wir durch den Arts District. Heimat des Portland Art Museum, der Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall und der Oregon Historical Society.
Wir werden unsere Fahrt in das Herz des Kerns von Portland fortsetzen. Nichts ist zentraler für die Portland-Kultur als Bücher. Wir weisen auf den größten unabhängigen Buchladen der Welt hin, einen ganzen 5-stöckigen Stadtblock mit Büchern, Karten und Geschenken!
Unser letzter Halt ist im Pearl District. Eines der schönsten und neuesten Viertel von Portland. Wir tauchen ein in die Geschichte, wie diese einstige Ansammlung heruntergekommener Lagerhäuser zum heutigen kulturellen Mekka für Craft Beer und Kunst wurde.
Schließlich fahren wir zu unserem endgültigen Ziel in unserem Fahrradgeschäft in der Altstadt. Cycle Portland vermietet seit 2008 Fahrräder und bietet Touren an. Außerdem sind wir eine Bier- und Weinbar mit tonnenweise flippigen Socken und einer lebensgroßen Statue eines nackten Bikers, die von Wyden und Kennedy entworfen wurde, der Nike-Berühmtheit „Just do it“. .

This was a great tour to see and learn about the Portland area. Donovon (Pro skater and amazing ebike tour guide) is very familiar with the area and shared his passion for Oregon and the outdoors with us! The bike was not challenging, and very comfortable and safe. We had never been to the Pac NW and frankly had we not gotten out and about to experience the surrounding areas staying in a hotel downtown would have left us with a poor impression of Portland.
Wonderful introduction to Portland and Spencer was a great guide! Got to see more of Portland than I thought we would.
We were in great hands guided all along our journey together by Spencer who knows so much about the area. Good explanation at the get go from the equipment, to our route plan, and all along the way stopping and taking in the local sites. And lots of recommendations of places to check out. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

We had an exceptional tour with Donovan today. He is personable, knowledgeable, and an enthusiastic Portland native. Not only was the tour great, but the information and recommendations he gave us were outstanding. The ride itself was great. One or two hill climbs...nothing too hard. Since it was Saturday, we made a stop at the Farmer's Market. Awesome! Overall, highly recommend this tour to see parts of the city you wouldn't otherwise see.
Charlotte and Spencer were excellent tour guides for this bike tour! I highly recommend this tour and these two tour guides. The leisure city ride was great to get to know a bit more about Portland and to take a chill ride throughout the city. Highly recommend!
The bike tour was an awesome experience! A great way to learn a little bit about Portland and our tour guides Spencer and Charlotte! Their staff was very friendly and welcoming. We love the bike tour so much, we rented the bikes for the rest of the day! We will recommend Portland Bike Tour!
This trip was more than we bargained for. It was excellent! Spencer and Charlotte were our tour guides and we would not have it any other way. They did such a good job that we ended up renting for the remainder of the day.
This was so much fun. We got the E-bikes and there were 4 of us. Had our teenagers. Tour info was great and our guide was fantastic. So glad we did it.
