Eine private halbtägige Gewürzfarm mit Kochkurs
Beschreibung
Die halbtägige geführte Aktivität beginnt und endet in Ihrem Hotel. Sie brechen nach dem Frühstück um 10:00 Uhr auf und fahren in den Norden von Sansibar, um einen Tag voller Abenteuer, Nervenkitzel und Spannung zu erleben. Sie werden eine Vielzahl von Gewürzen direkt dort sehen, wo sie angebaut werden, wie Vanille, Kardamom und Muskatnuss. Sie werden auch an einem Kochkurs teilnehmen, um zu lernen, wie man ein traditionelles Sansibar-Gericht zubereitet. Dazu kann die Zubereitung von einfachem Reis gehören, der mit Kokosmilch geröstet wird, Pilaw (gewürzter Reis), geröstete Kochbananen und so weiter. Sie können die Speisen genießen, Sie können die Speisen essen und Sie können den Geschmack der Speisen bestaunen. Danach bringen wir Sie zurück zu Ihrem Hotel

The cooking class portion of the spice farm tour was a truly unique and authentic experience, but not for the faint of heart! From sitting on the floor of the “kitchen”, which is essentially a dirt floor , cinder block room without running water or electricity, to cutting up vegetables used in the multi-course meal, to watching “Mama” prepare the meal and waiting for the meal to cook over 3 portable charcoal braziers, we all felt transported in time. But the food was delicious and despite all of our Western food safety concerns, none of us had any issues. If you are adventurous this cooking experience is for you! For the not so food adventurous the spice farm tour was excellent on its own.

The cooking class was super great and the food tasted wonderful. Maria, the cook is a totally warm and personable woman and a wonderful cook. You could help a lot and the tour guide Dida explained everything great. She also speaks super German. The cooking class is highly recommended.
