Angkor Wat ist das größte religiöse Denkmal der Welt und der berühmteste Sonnenaufgang der Welt. Es ist ein erstaunlich großer und ehrgeiziger Komplex, der die Macht und Majestät der alten Angkor-Zivilisation symbolisiert.
Angkor Thom war die letztere Hauptstadt des Angkor-Reiches. Die Straße führt uns durch das berühmte Südtor, gesäumt von Göttern und Dämonen, die in einem ewigen Tauziehen verstrickt sind. Der Bayon-Tempel in der Mitte des Geländes ist mit unzähligen glückselig geschnitzten Gesichtern gesäumt, die ewig auf den umliegenden Wald blicken.
Ta Prohm ist eine malerische und attraktive Ruine, die teilweise vom Dschungel zurückerobert wurde. Er ist auch als „Tomb Raider-Tempel“ bekannt, der durch Angelina Jolie im Film von 2001 berühmt wurde.
Banteay Srei ist ein Miniaturtempel in viel besserem Zustand als die meisten in Angkor. Nachdem es im frühen 20. Jahrhundert „wiederentdeckt“ wurde, wurde es umfassend restauriert, wobei viele Elemente mit Originalmaterialien wieder aufgebaut wurden. Als solches bietet es einen hervorragenden Einblick, wie viele der anderen Angkor-Tempel ausgesehen haben könnten, als sie ursprünglich gebaut wurden (wenn auch kleiner und ohne Farbe).

We had a great day with Ho Heang. We were picked up from our hotel right on time. The vehicle was air conditioned and exceptionally clean. Ho Heang got us to each stop just before all the tour groups arrived. We had plenty of time to explore and take pictures. He was extremely knowledgable of each stops history. Our driver was also exceptionally attentive. We had cold bottled water and refreshing wipes each time we returned to the vehicle. I highly recommend this tour.

The scenery on this tour was amazing. 10/10 would recommend to anyone visiting Siem Reap. Mr. John was a fantastic tour guide and was very knowledgeable about all the spots. He took us to see the best views at each stop and was a great photographer!!
Mr. Sok was an INCREDIBLE tour guide. He was so knowledgeable and shared so many amazing facts about the temples. He knew the exact route to go to avoid the crowds the best places to take photos. He absolutely made our trip to Angkor Wat incredible. If you’re looking at other tours, I would say do not underestimate the luxury of having an air conditioned car. It’s super refreshing and an amazing reprieve from the heat.
Thom was a very nice guide and flexible and patient with our pace with small children. The tour organizer sent him to the wrong hotel in the morning for pickup but the tour itself was good and the driver very nice and helpful.

Our tour guide, Mr. Dara, was friendlyconsiderate, and informed. He addressed all of our inquiries and provided us with the background information on every location we saw.
