Amazing tour and the guide was very knowledgeable! Highly recommend
Great tour. Andres was a very knowledgeable guide. We ended up seeing 5 sloths along with a lot of other wildlife. I would highly recommend bug spray/long sleeves.
Our guide was very experienced. He knows the sloth locations well and gives us time to look at them. We saw a mother with her little one moving all the time and another one scratching all the time, it was extraordinary. This is the best birthday present I could have.
A fun and educational walk with a knowledgeable guide in a small-scale family owned garden, where we saw several sloths and birds. Luckily, we didn’t go to a large, crowded park. At the end, we were also offered drinks and fruit. Definitely recommended!
We had an amazing tour with Yulian at Ecogarden Arenal. Yulian had a wealth of information about sloths and many other kinds of Costa Rica wildlife. He brought a scope on a tripod with him so that when he spotted wildlife, he could magnify the animal for us to see, and he helped us take photos through the scope. It was really the highlight of our trip to Costa Rica. It was a thrill to see the animals in such a natural environment, instead of being in a zoo-like setting. We saw 2-toed and 3- toed sloths, spectacled owls, poison dart frogs, a glass frog, and many birds. What a great tour!
He was very nice and knowledgeable. We were able to see about 6 sloths, frogs,a farm and unique birds. Overall, wonderful experience ! Thank you so much for the tour experience.
Lots on sloth sightings in a small area, along with birds and insects. A good tour for an afternoon Informative
Great experience for our family! Saw 5 sloths, a spectacle owl and baby caimans! Our guide Leo was so enthusiastic and made it so exciting and informative for us!
I went on Wednesday 12 June morning, I had a private tour because of my mobility. Jose was my guide he was very nice and funny, he had an assistant that carry a chair around for me when I was tired. Jose would find the sloth and I would look in his telescope and he would take picture with my phone. I also saw a red frog and baby crocodile and hummingbirds and lots of plants and flowers and birds. Josee made me feel special , he put flower in my hair.
I highly recommend! My husband and I had a blast with our tour guide Leo! We did their sloth tour and not only did we see plenty of my favorite animal, but we saw lots of other wildlife too. We lucked into watching a three toed sloth and her baby being very active in the day, then we saw 3 other sleepy sloths. Leo taught us so much about them and their behaviors. We also saw a cayman and her babies, blue Jean frogs, birds, and lots of unique plants as well. José the owner has created a wonderful place to appreciate and nurture nature .
