We did a day tour trying to see some animals. It started raining heavily so we had to finish the tour earlier than expected which means that there was no possibility of weeing the monkeys. During the first hour we did however not so that many animals, a sloth from very far barley visible with the telescope, a snake, a frog and that's about it. The guide seemed knowledgeable but overall we think we payed a lot a got little. We were told that we could come back another day to see the monkeys but since it was our last day in La Fortuna we couldn't do that. Although when we were leaving we saw another guide just about to start with another group, so I don't get why we couldn't have joined them to see the monkeys.
Amazing walk and wildlife sightings with our guide Miller. Kids had a blast and it was so worth it. Saw sloths, monkeys, toucans, frogs and more!
Miller and Manuel were fabulous. Helpful friendly and knowledgeable. Bringing the extra scope for the kids was great. Price was good.
Top wax tour with William as a guide who was very informative!
we were accidentally dropped off here by our uber and so glad we were! everyone here was so welcome and friendly, they let us hop on a tour that was just about to start. so glad they saved the morning. thanks arenal sloths and monkeys!
We had a really great time on this tour. Highly recommend. We saw so many los monkeys, frogs, and other cool nature things. Miller was our guide
Highly recommend! We did this tour with our three boys, ages 7, 6, and 4. It was very doable with these ages. I will say, the path is not stroller friendly, so your kids need to come prepared to walk or be in a carrier. Our guide, Miler, was incredibly knowledgeable and was so good at finding animals quickly and showing them to the kids and telling us about them. He walked slowly so the kids could easily keep up with him. I would recommend wearing hiking boots or shoes that can easily get wet, as we didn’t come prepared and our shoes got muddy. Also, insect repellent is a MUST. The mosquitoes are viscous, especially if it rains. We cannot speak highly enough of this tour!
William was so sweet i feel like he went above and beyond to show us everything we could see and teach us new things.
We had a beautiful experience on a very wet and rainy morning. Eric was a wonderful guide and helped us spot many creatures we never would have seen on our own— sleepy sloths, dripping monkeys, soggy toucans, and a trail side fer de lance. A great tour and mahalo nui to Eric for being such a fantastic guide.
Great experience! We had a small group for our tour and were able to see multiple sloths, monkeys, frogs and a toucan! The guide was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. Would visit again!
