This was the second tour we did with Alex - because we enjoyed the first one so much we booked the second one for the following day. We travelled up through the mountains to some gorgeous villages with lunch at a small taverna, the food was fantastic and the locals were like extended family. We sat and ate while listening to local musicians play some beautiful Cretan music and just relaxed and absorbed the atmosphere. I was travelling with a teenager who can be hard to please, but he enjoyed the whole experience and Alex was an amazing guide and a genuinely good person. The ebikes were great to ride and in perfect condition, Alex carried spare batteries and parts so we didn't need to worry about anything. We had frequent stops for water/sunscreen breaks and photos and although the terrain is hilly, the bikes made it easy and fun.
The owner of Eco Bike was an excellent communicator and arranged an incredibly exciting today custom itinerary for my 22 year-old daughter and I. We visited an olive oil production facility, winery, and many other cultural sites in the mountains of Crete. We enjoyed high-quality electric bikes with fat tires, and enjoyed his guided navigation through urban and rural areas.
Loved it!!!!!!!!!! Having this tour saved us time to explore the place! Highly recommended when you visit Crete!!!!!!
Alex went above and beyond in their effort to provide an authentic Cretan Night. They happily accommodated our desire to not drive back across the island in the middle of the night and found us a place to stay near the venue. The food and drink were authentic and the music was fantastic. The musicians enthusiastically played and sang both traditional and contemporary Cretan music extremely well. This evening was the highlight to our trip to Crete.
