"Aufgrund der Höhe dieses Vulkans und seiner Aktivität wird diese Tour nicht für Personen mit Herzproblemen, hohem Blutdruck, kürzlich durchgeführten Operationen, schwangeren Frauen oder Kindern empfohlen." Auf dem Weg zum Vulkan Poás besuchen wir die Doka-Kaffeeplantage, probieren ein köstliches Frühstück und eine Führung durch die Kaffeeplantage, wo wir die aktuellen und alten Techniken kennenlernen, mit denen Experten unser goldenes Korn verarbeiten und eines der besten produzieren Kaffee aus Costa Rica. Sobald die Erklärung des Kaffees beendet ist, setzen wir unseren Weg zum Vulkan Poás fort. Dieser 2708 Meter hohe Koloss ist aktiv und Sie werden nicht nur die beeindruckenden Krater- und Gasemissionen bewundern, sondern auch die phreatische und fumarolische Aktivität sowie die verschiedenen Ökosysteme und die üppige Vegetation kennenlernen schöner Nationalpark. Wir werden unseren Weg zu den Wasserfällen von La Paz fortsetzen. Wenn wir ankommen, werden wir einen schönen Weg entlang gehen, der zu verschiedenen Attraktionen des Parks führt, einschließlich der Voliere, dem größten Schmetterlingsobservatorium des Landes, der Kolibri-Galerie, dem Serpentarium und der Ausstellung von Frösche, Affen und Katzen. Schließlich erwartet uns mitten im Regenwald ein köstliches Mittagessen in Buffetform. Am Ende des Mittagessens machen wir einen Spaziergang, bei dem wir drei imposante natürliche Wasserfälle besuchen können, die vom Rio La Paz selbst geformt wurden. Es ist zu beachten, dass diese Wanderung im feuchten Tropenwaldsektor durchgeführt wird und in einigen Teilen der Route aus Stufen besteht. Dieser Weg ist asphaltiert.

I recently visited Costa Rica with my family and I can say that Viajes Nana/Nana Tours exceeded our expectations. Truly, it was very pleasurable to have visited such beautiful places, such as the Poas Volcano, Hacienda Doka, La Paz Waterfall, Arenal Volcano and the Baldi Hot Springs with the guides of this Agency, especially, with Mauritius, Marlon and Edgar. Like their owners, Porfirio, they are very knowledgeable, responsible and professional people, attentive to every detail and super helpful. The explanations on each tour were very complete and entertaining. We never felt that we were with a tour guide, but, rather, with a friend tico! We take very nice memories of our trip to Costa Rica! Excellent experience at the hands of our guide Mauricio. Very grateful for all your explanations of the coffee process from collection to packaging. After passing through the Poas volcano, where we were able to see its crater perfectly, we were in the protected animal refuge and it was a spectacular experience surrounded by this magnificent fauna. Travel agency NANA tour, is a fraudster, lie, q told me arrives 5:50 am to Hotel to retire, waited since 5:30, and no one arrives or answers me call, then answers message says we were not in hotel and left the bus. But the hotel reception says no one's coming for us. Hello, this gentleman did not buy the tours that he says he bought the Tortuga Island Cruise and he was Vito at one hour and he did not arrive at that time when the Cruise bus passed by he was not at the hotel he had not arrived because he was in another hotel and the Guide Lea gave a time but they did not arrive and the tours had more passengers and could not wait any longer the Lord is not a passenger NO SHOW for not arriving on time thanks Hola este Señor no compro el tours que dice el compro el Crucero de Isla Tortuga y se le Vito a una hora y el no llego a esa hora cuando paso el autobús del Crucero el no estaba en el el hotel el no había llegado por que estaba en otro hotel y el Guía Lea dio un tiempo pero no llegaron y el tours tenía más pasajeros y no podía esperar más el Señor a no está es un pasajero NO SHOW por no llegar a tiempo gracias
I recently took this tour (11/12/21) and had a great day! Our tour guide, Donald, and his driver, Adrien, were wonderful and fully knowledgeable regarding the Daka coffee tour, the Poas volcano and La Paz Waterfall Garden. Make sure to wear a good pair of sneakers or hiking boots as there is quite a bit of walking, both along trails and up and down stairs. By the time we were done, we had walked almost 5 miles and the number of stairs was equal to about 42 stories! There was a gentleman who had a broken foot, and he was able to maneuver everywhere, so don't let those numbers deter you from taking this tour. I enjoyed the day immensely. It was a great day with a great guide and driver! Our tour bus was clean and in great condition. If you find yourself in Costa Rica and want to take a tour that has a little bit of the best things of this beautiful country and of the very friendly and accommodating people, you will have a wonderful experience on this tour!
