Wir beginnen unsere Montréal-Wanderung, indem wir die Schlange an der Basilika Notre-Dame überspringen, bevor wir Vieux-Montréal wandern. Wir werden einige historische und architektonische Juwelen besuchen, um ein Verständnis des Viertels zu erhalten, bevor wir aufbrechen und die Touristenmassen hinter uns lassen. Wir schlendern durch ein Segment unserer Innen- oder Untergrundstadt. Es ist das größte Indoor-Netzwerk auf dem Planeten und lässt uns unseren Weg nach Chinatown für einen schnellen Snack machen, während wir die Enge auf der Gegend bekommen. Dann geht es ab in unser altes Rotlichtviertel, das zum Unterhaltungsmekka wurde, um zu sehen, wo die größten Festivals stattfinden. Wir kommen in eine verrückte, oft vermisste Institution. Auf dem Boulevard Saint-Laurent besichtigen wir ein halbes Dutzend beeindruckender Kunstwerke des MURAL Festivals von Montréal in dem Viertel, das die höchste Konzentration an Künstlern in Kanada beherbergt. Mit einem Kaffee aus einem lokalen Third Wave Shop in der Hand wandern wir die hippen Teile des unteren Mains entlang, bevor wir Ihnen eine individuelle Empfehlungsliste hinterlassen!!

Vom World Trade Center bis nach Chinatown spazieren wir ein Stück des weltgrößten Binnennetzes.
Wir kommen vorbei, um uns einen Snack in einer örtlichen Bäckerei zu holen und die Fußgängerzone unserer Chinatown zu erkunden!
Wir besuchen eine Menge Street Art von einem riesigen Festival. Wir besuchen einen verrückten Gebrauchtwarenladen und eine Kunstgalerie. Wir lernen diesen historischen Boulevard und seine vielen Einwanderungswellen kennen. Wir laufen durch das alte Vergnügungsviertel Red Light.
Wir besuchen diesen verrückten Gebrauchtwarenladen für Freizeit. 3 Stockwerke, ein wildes Interieur und die Möglichkeit, es auszuprobieren, bevor Sie auf eigene Faust in die Freizeit zurückkehren!
Wir besuchen den Stadtteil mit einer hohen Konzentration von Künstlern. Wir sehen ungefähr ein Dutzend Wandbilder und Kunstwerke. Wir weisen Sie in die richtige Richtung für coole Läden und Dinge, die Sie sehen können, wenn Sie alleine sind, und setzen Sie sich in ein Café, um einen lokal gerösteten Kaffee zu genießen, und geben Ihnen eine Liste mit Empfehlungen.

This walking tour is great. Its just the right duration and number of cool things to see (not the typical tourist traps). Gabriella was terrific... she is a native and you can really tell she loves her city. Highly recommend.

David did an amazing job with the tour. He was interactive, excited, and always checked to make sure that guests were caught up in what he's talking about. He was also accommodating as well for guests that needed restroom breaks or who are behind in keeping pace with the group.

Wow! In and out of interesting buildings, local history you can’t find on Google and a Hollywood style - back lot, behind the scenes tour. We were captivated by Fred’s genuine enthusiasm for her French roots and how they pair with the modern day blended French/ English community. Her knowledge of the past and present was woven with personal anecdotes and humor. The tour includes admission to the basilica, a warm bao bun in Chinatown and coffee/ tea in the international food area near little Portugal. We were inspired to explore the neighborhood beyond the tourist areas and were charmed by the nooks and crannies of this great city. Book now!

The weather absolutely did no cooperate with this tour but Amelie made the most of it. She made us all feel comfortable and welcome. This tour was interesting and moved at a nice pace. I very much enjoyed the stop for bao and also the stop for tea. That is a nice touch and a great way to give an even bigger sample of what the city offers. Thank you for a great morning. It was so good that I even forgot how bad the rain was!
I took this tour with Amelie and throughly enjoyed it. I liked that visited multiple neighborhoods. Amelie’s love of Montreal was obvious. I enjoyed that she shared a lot of history and that she could go off-script when people asked questions.
