Diamond Head und Manoa Falls: Wander- und Abenteuertour

Make it to the top on both hikes but did not realize the challenge. Maybe provide more disclosure about the trek. The other persons on the tour could not make it.

Nasia was an excellent tour guide for our private tour! We had so much fun and feel like Nasia is Ohana now! The hikes were also stunning!

This was amazing experience. Our tour guider was phenomenal. She was very knowledgeable. 😊Views were spectacular. A+++ .

What an awesome trip! We went as a family of 6 adults and we all loved it. Both hikes featured amazing views and our tour guide, Lucas, was friendly and knowledgeable. Would absolutely recommend this trip!

Don't waste your money - this is not a private tour where a guide actually gives you informative information about what you are seeing. Rather it is a glorified Uber ride and they don't even follow through on what they promise to show you. I booked a private tour for 3 people on the Diamondhead Crater and Manoa Waterfall tour advertised through their website. We had a party of 3 people and I paid $622 for a tour that was supposed to start at 8 am and end around 3 pm (the voucher I printed says 8 am - 3 pm). Our driver was very nice but she provided very little information about either the crater or the waterfall. I was extremely disappointed in the lack of any information. When we got to the crater, the driver did not accompany us. I looked at the website and it appears the journey up the crater was supposed to be self-guided. There was an audio tour but driver did not tell us about this option. After finishing the crater, we went to the waterfalls. This time driver accompanied us but she offered very little in the way of information. She just took some pictures. We completed the waterfall just before 12 or so. I asked driver if there was anything left to see on the tour and she explicitly stated "NO" and the only thing left was lunch, which we had to pay for. According to their website, it states that we have option to visit other places after finishing the crater and waterfall. It states: Possible Stops (If scheduling permits) Aloha Tower – The Statue of Liberty of Hawaii Iolani Palace – Only Royal Palace in the US with a rich history King Kamehameha Statue – First King of all of Hawaii and famous spot of Hawaii Five-0 TV Show Downtown Honolulu – Drive through the most important business district of Hawaii Ala Moana Shopping Mall – Biggest Outdoor Shopping Mall in the USA World War I Memorial – Salt Water Swim Stadium Secluded Beach in Waikiki – Home of Hawaiian Monk Seals Hawaii Five-0 Movie Spots – Different Spots along our route Most expensive Neighborhood on Oahu – Mansions & Japanese Mafia See https://danielshawaii.com/all-tours/diamond-head-crater-hawaiian-waterfall-tour/ We had 3 hours left on the tour. We were never offered the option to go to any of these places. We were told the " tour was over and the only thing left to do was lunch". Since I was incorrectly told the tour was over, I told driver to take us back to the hotel. It was not until I got back did I realize that in fact we could have seen additional places . Their website states private tour - today was nothing more than a glorified uber ride. For $622, I expected a greater amount of information and more sites especially since the booking states 8 am - 3 pm. While the driver was very nice, she clearly did not know all the tour details and she gave us bad information that the tour was over. We had plenty of time to see some other places. In addition, she knew little to no information about any of the places we visited. I feel someone who offers a private tour should not just drive us around - we deserved a real guide, not just a driver. We could have easily visited these sites on our own for much less money. When I made my concerns known, the company offered a partial refund but then refused to reply to any follow up emails. When I call now, they screen my call and refuse to answer. They have refused to make good on their promise of a partial refund. Don't waste your money as this company appears very dishonest and unethical.

We recently took a trip to Diamond Head and Manoa Park, and while we certainly enjoyed the beautiful scenery, the experience didn’t quite meet our expectations. First, let’s start with the positives. Our guide was delightful and engaging, providing great conversation throughout the trip. They were more than happy to take pictures for us, which was a nice touch. However, when it came to historical context, we found ourselves wanting more. Our guide didn’t seem to have much information about the history of Diamond Head or Manoa Park, which was a bit disappointing given the price we paid. One aspect that left us underwhelmed was the lack of included refreshments. There were no breakfast options, snacks, or even water provided. We were offered suggestions for lunch and were told they would wait for us to eat, but it felt like a missed opportunity to enhance the experience. Additionally, we were excited about the prospect of visiting multiple sites—up to 30 places were mentioned in the listing. However, we quickly found that our options were quite limited, which led to some frustration. Ultimately, we chose to end the trip two hours early because we felt we weren’t able to explore as much as we had hoped, especially given our specific interest in waterfalls. In summary, while our trip was beautiful and we appreciated our guide's friendliness, the lack of historical knowledge and limited customization options were letdowns. For the price we paid, we expected a more enriching experience that aligned better with our expectations.

The trip was amazing! Our guide, Matthew, was a wealth of information on Hawaiian culture and history. So much easier than trying to find our way by ourselves.

We had a great private tour with Matthew! He was so friendly and energetic, and full of knowledge about Hawaii. We learned so much from him and had a great time on our hikes. He also gave us recommendations on places to visit and see on the rest of our trip. Couldn’t recommend him enough! Thank you Matthew!

We had such a great time on this tour with Daniel. He is a great tour guide--kept the day fun, showed us all of the beautiful sites of Oahu, & introduced us to many wonderful people around the island as we made stops at local places to eat, explore, & shop. He has great stories to tell that keep you interested in learning more about the history of the island and he even does it in a way that kept my teenagers engaged! We saw giant turtles and monk seals, as well as the beautiful beaches and greenery. It was all so breathtakingly gorgeous.

My tour with Cameron was amazing! He picked us up on time and he gave us a brief of everything that was going to happen on the tour. During the tour he gave us a history of every single location we saw. At first the rain got us but he was so optimistic about the rain going away. And it did!!!! The food was ordered on time so we did not spend time waiting around. He was so helpful on the paddle boarding and encouraging. When I visit Hawaii again I’ll make sure to book it with Cameron!!!!!!
