I had an AH-MAZING time. If anything, I wish I could have ordered my veggie sandwich with a vegan option (it came with mayo and cheese; the part of it I could consume were the loose grilled onions and they were good). The boiling does say glaring your own lunch if you have dietary restrictions but there should be a price difference. Other than that, our guide was super friendly and offered a TON of information. Also cool to learn new words and about the land since he grew up there and helped build the trail. 10/10 HIGHLY recommend, even with the lunch inconvenience. MAHALO!!!

Beautiful scenery! The last quarter of the hike is pretty steep. Juni our tour guide provided hiking poles. Highly recommend taking them as it is slippery throughout the trail. He allowed the group to both stay together and also staggered so that the slower folks like me could still enjoy. Lunch had a beautiful view at the second stop.
Jason was a fantastic guide! And the falls are gorgeous. Just a note. We went right after some rains and the mud killed our shoes. LOL. This is not the hike for white shoes! It is uphill and rocky but beyond beautiful. We had some 75 year old ladies who made it! BUt slowly! The guides really paced everyone well! The view for lunch was spectacular!
Our guide, Junie was tremendous! He was very informative about not only the hike, but history and culture of Hawaii. Was very attentive to our needs and worked hard to ensure we had a great time!
The guide was excellent and knowledgeable. The views were fantastic and worth the hike. Would highly recommend.
