In Elounda, einem kleinen Dorf am Ufer der Mirabello-Bucht mit spektakulärer Aussicht, beginnt die Bootsfahrt zur Insel Spinalonga, einer kleinen unbewohnten Insel, die in der Geschichte als Festung und später als Leprakolonie genutzt wurde. Auf dem Rückweg zum Hafen von Elounda ankert das Boot, sodass Sie im erfrischenden Wasser tauchen können.

Die Stadt Agios Nikolaos ist die Hauptstadt der Präfektur Lassithi und liegt am Ufer der Bucht von Mirabello im Osten der Insel Kreta. Der Punkt ist der See von Voulismeni, der sich im Stadtzentrum befindet, umgeben von Cafés und Restaurants. Der See verbindet sich mit dem Meer unter einer winzigen straßenblauen Brücke und hat aufgrund seiner großen Tiefe eine historische und geologische Bedeutung. Had an amazing experience, the tour guide manos is a real credit to your team, he went above and beyond with all travellers, he clearly had a good knowledge of the areas we visited and made some recommendations where to eat and drink. Everything ran smoothly even if the roadworks closed they made another route and gave us all plenty time for the tour. Manos is a really nice person and a brilliant guide, would highly recommend the tour
Very beautiful excursion. Plenty of free time to visit. Not to mention the dip in the sea near the island of Spinalonga.
The tour guide was amazing she was very friendly, informative and spoke excellent English, the trip was amazing with great transport from start to finish. Excellent value for money would definitely recommend .
A good tour but have some recommendations. Guide gave tour in English and French but was hard to understand her English, needed to slow rate of speech and articulate more clearly. Directions were not always clear and some had directions confused. Had 1.5 hours at first 2 stops, not enough time to fully benefit from either stop. Spinalonga Island was outstanding, Enjoyed the day but could improve your with some changes.

The excursion in the villages and the visit to the island were good. The guides were good. However, there are many pick-up points scattered along the way, so if you leave from Aération, expect to travel a lot. Perhaps having smaller buses would be better in the future!
It was a great day out despite the hot weather. We had two stops of 90 mins before the boat ride to Spinalonga. Elounda and Agios Nickolas were lovely places to stop and look around. I loved the boat ride over to Spinalonga. The island was so interesting. Fantastic value for money and would highly recommend the excursion if you are in Crete.

There are opportunities for swimming do bring your swimwear and a towel. The trip is well paced and the staff are incredibly friendly.
This tour was very well organised and quite laid back! After being picked up, you have some free time in a couple of towns. The first one has a lovely lake to get a drink and food. Also some lovely side streets and shops to explore. Our second location was a small beach town it was quiet when we went and you can spend time here relaxing by the water and going for a swim. After that you jump on a boat to Spinalomga island. Be aware that you have to pay to look around the island. We thought it was worth it and had fun exploring and admiring the views! Last thing was back on the boat and another swimming opportunity. For the price I think this is a good tour and is fairly relaxed. Thanks for a lovely day ^.^
