The title of this...
The title of this activity can be mis leading- it is not a typical walking tour, walking is minimal. The tour is more about learning the history, taking a ride in the vehicle to another point of interest. Information provided on the tour was interesting. Important to note, the tour does not include the two entrance fees.

The title of the tour is “Best of Nazaré Tour”, there is no “Walking” in the title... So it can´t be misleading on that basis. That said, it does include walking- and a fair amount at that- from Sítio area to Nazaré Fort and back. Many people choose to pay for a tuk-tuk to cover that distance, so walking is everything but minimal on this tour. We visited all the sites mentioned in the description. Regarding the two entrance fees (4 euros per person, charged by the sites and partly optional), the information about that is explicitly written in the description of the tour. Not only that, we always give everybody another heads up about that the day before so everybody is on the same page. Regards. JP

Great Private tour of Nazare
We had a great time on this private Tour of Nazare. Our tour guide, João Pedro gave us a great background of the history of this charming seaside fishing town which is now world famous for its huge waves in the winter. We visited many of the sites in the city ending at the famous lighthouse overlooking the huge surf beach. We highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting this beach city.

Must do

Very good guidance with lots of information and well presented
The tour was very good, lots of information, so we could easily imagine the old Nazare. Our guide responded to all wishes and also took into consideration the pace.

Nazare beyond the tourist trap!

Loved our tour with JP!
We had a fantastic experience with Joao Pedro (JP). He knows the town of Nazaré so well, having grown up in the town--and returning to live here after working abroad. We enjoyed hearing about the history of the town, and its significance in a broader context - for religious pilgrims, and for modern day surfers! And he wove in stories from his personal experience.
