Another was visiting Lake Tana, the beautiful source of the Blue Nile. The scenery was beautiful, and learning about the historical and cultural importance of the lake and its surrounding monasteries added great depth to the experience. Being able to see hippos in the lake and people riding on reed boat added to the excitement. The journey to the Danakil Depression was truly something else and easily one of the most extraordinary experiences of our lives. It really feels like a different world, with its surreal landscapes, vibrant colors, and extreme environment. I do not think we will ever visit a place on Earth more colourful than this, which I thought was nature’s chemical dump. Visiting the active volcanoes in the region the preceding day was absolutely thrilling. What truly sets Aspire Tour apart is the personal care and professional approach of Mr. Gashaw. He is incredibly kind, hospitable, and reliable, always making sure that details were taken care of and that we were comfortable throughout the journey. We may have had a few questions on the way but that regardless, his passion for Ethiopia and genuine concern for his guests made the experience even more special. Aspire Ethiopia Tours is the agency you must find to travel to Ethiopia..the young dynamic owner Mr Gashaw Newt organised a perfect trip ..we visited Lalibela  Gondar Bishoftu and Addis Ababa. Gashaw took care of all details from booking our 3 internal flights, transportation hotels guides n also helped us with money exchange..treated us to Macchiato and we all received  a parting surprise..a personalised gift and a packet of Ethiopian coffee...this was a great gesture which we will cherish. I found Aspire when I was doing a search to travel to Ethiopia which was  3 years ago and connected well with him with his quick responses but unfortunately we decided to travel to Philippines n Taiwan in March 24. Then we travelled elsewhere and now got  the right season n time for  Ethiopia 2026  and then got back to Aspire n reconnected  luckily had saved his WA number as his email was changed. His quick replies  made it easy to create an itinerary for our senior group which we had to change a few times and then fix dates  which was a problem as we were doing Saudi Arabia n Ethiopia n the Festival of Ramadan was a hurdle to get our dates right so finally we arrived Ethiopia on  3rd Feb. We had a great cultural experience travelling around Ethiopia  with Gashaw who  accompanied  our group of 20 pax  and now going back enlightened with this visit and lovely memories of this less travelled country .
