Wir beginnen den Tag in Oldenburg Vineyards, einem der schönsten Weinberge Südafrikas mit wunderschönen Ausblicken auf die Weinberge und umgeben von einem Amphitheater aus Bergen. Die Weine hier sind hervorragend und eine große Auswahl für jeden Geschmack. Sie servieren auch gemeinen Kaffee für diejenigen, die einen Kickstart in den Tag brauchen!
Eines der besten Weingüter Südafrikas, benannt nach dem Kanon auf dem Berggipfel, der vor Jahrhunderten die Ankunft von Schiffen im Hafen von Kapstadt signalisierte Konzentration auf Rotwein einschließlich der südafrikanischen Rebsorte (Pinotage) Kanonkop war das erste Weingut in Südafrika, das für seine Paul Sauer Bordeaux-Mischung 2015 eine perfekte Punktzahl von 100 Punkten erhielt

Unsere letzte Station des Tages ist der historische Weinberg Meerlust in der 8. Generation der Familie Mybergh. Geschichtsträchtig mit kapholländischer Architektur, probieren wir in ihrem alten Fassraum. Weltweit über Meerlust berühmt für ihre preisgekrönten Weine, war das erste Weingut, das 1980 in Südafrika eine Bordeaux-Mischung herstellte

Our Tour Guide Pamela took us to 3 very nice vineyards for tastings plus a fourth one for a fabulous lunch. Pamela was a fantastic tour guide. I highly recommend her!

Had a fantastic day with Willem! Custom tour set up for us that was wonderful. We appreciated that it was door to door pickup and drop-off. He was very informative and was able to answer our questions about the area, history of Cape Town and surrounding towns, as well as the wine farms. Perfect way to spend the day and enjoy some great wine and food tastings. Lunch at Tokara was a delight. We enjoyed an olive oil/food pairing prior to our lunch. Would highly recommend!

Our guide Pamela was very knowledgeable about the wines we were tasting and the region. The three wineries chosen were outstanding. The first one Muratie was my favorite because it had an interesting history. The cheese pairing at the next winery Lavenir was delightful. The lunch stop at Guardian Peak had gorgeous view and yummy food. The final stop Waterford Estate had a chocolate pairing which I enjoyed. We bought chocolate to take home.

Tsiba Tsiba was great to work with all throughout the process. They were communicative and allowed for a really great custom tour. My friend and I enjoyed our tour immensely. Our guide, Pamela, was very knowledgeable about the wines, and provided us with some really great history and insight into South Africa’s history, and Cape Town specifically as well. She was so great, we wanted her to stay with us for the rest of our trip!

We enjoyed a custom private wine tour of the Stellenbosch area with Eileen. Eileen did an amazing job thoughtfully selecting vineyards that met the specific preferences that we outlined before the tour. She was a pleasure to spend the day with as she's personable/friendly and has an absolute wealth of knowledge about wine and the region. Eileen is clearly a skilled guide as she took the extra effort to clearly communicate and clarify expectations, next steps, and her expert suggestions throughout the entire day. She also took the extra step of adding an olive oil tasting to help the non-drinker in the group feel that much more included. It felt like we had a friend taking us around to her favorite wineries, which was such a treat. She has clearly built strong relationships at each winery and the hospitality, generosity, and warmth extended to us. This tour is well worth it to enjoy a top-notch experience of an excellent wine region.

The private wine tour for 2 people was an absolutely fantastic day. Willem was a spectacular guide who was very knowledgable and incredibly friendly and easy to talk to. I would highly recommend this tour for a day out of Cape Town to see the unbelievably beautiful wine country!
