Erleben Sie die Welt der Cu Chi Freiheitskämpfer mit einem Besuch in ihrem berühmten Tunnelsystem. Dieses Netzwerk von über 200 km Tunneln wurde in den 1960er Jahren zu einer Legende, als sie eine wichtige Rolle im amerikanischen Krieg spielten und es dem Vietcong ermöglichten, ein großes ländliches Gebiet in der Nähe von Ho-Chi-Minh-Stadt zu kontrollieren. Zu ihrer Blütezeit funktionierten die Tunnel in unterirdischen Städten.

Am Morgen fahren wir von Ho Chi Minh Stadt nach Cu Chi Tunnels. Cu Chi gilt heute als heldenhafter Bezirk für seine Rolle im antiamerikanischen Kriegswiderstand während des Vietnamkrieges. Es ist legendär für sein über 220 km langes unterirdisches Tunnelsystem und eine beliebte Touristenattraktion sowohl für Vietnamesen als auch für Ausländer. Auf dem Weg von Ho-Chi-Minh-Stadt nach Cu-Chi passieren wir die malerische Landschaft, in der Sie sogar Enten und Büffel beobachten können, die sich im Fluss abkühlen. Es fällt Ihnen schwer, sich die Zerstörung und den Schaden vorzustellen, die einst das Gebiet beherrschten und durch Bomben und Minen verursacht wurden, als Cu Chi „eine freie Zielzone“ war.
Nach den Tunneln machen wir eine Pause für ein Mittagessen mit lokaler vietnamesischer Küche, bevor wir zurück nach Ho Chi Minh fahren. Hier besuchen wir den Palast der Wiedervereinigung, der bis zum Kriegsende im April 1975 die ehemalige Residenz des Präsidenten von Südvietnam war, die Kathedrale Notre Dame, das Generalpostamt und das Kriegsmuseum. Die Tour endet um 17:00 Uhr.

Our trip was organised by Vietnam Tours Saigon & was over 1 1/2 days. First half day we covered the landmarks of HCMC (Saigon).2nd day we covered the Cu Chi tunnels & War Remnant Museum. Our guide was Kheng.We have travelled extensively in many Asian countries.We consider him to be the best.He is very knowledgeable, punctual, gave us time to enjoy the tourist places & took beautiful photos on our mobiles. The driver whose name I cannot recall was punctual, polite & drove safely
My wife and I used Vietnam Private Transfers (VPT) for a private guided tour to the Cu Chi Tunnels and for a pick up from HCM City airport to our hotel (Mia Saigon, which is excellent - see my review). Katie, at VPT was extremely helpful and was always willing and able to answer the many questions I had when planning our trip. The Cu Chi Tunnels trip was very enjoyable and our guide (Huynh Dung) was excellent, knowledgeable and paced the tour well). The driver was very careful and made for a relaxing ride. Would definitely use VPT again.

I booked a group tour to visit Cu Chi tunnel and City for our last day in Saigon. Lily approached me promptly and upgraded our tour to private tour with very little surcharge. She arranged an excellent tour guide for us and there was nothing to complaint about the services. The foods in Cu Chi tunnel was amazing and delicious.
We had to make a change of travel plans and ended up booking our trip from our hotel to Cu Chi at the recommendation of our hotel. The driver was friendly and helpful ( i was on crutches and unable to help with my baggage). Overall it was surprisingly pleaant.
The CuChi Tunnels and Reunification tour was both amazing and an eye opener for us. It showed the ingenuity and resiliency of the Vietnamese people against an even superior opponent. If you love David vs Goliath stories, this tour is for you. The tour guid Jun is very knowledgeable and even the kids love the tour. The lunch was also great.
Amazing trip! The food included was so delicious. Lily was very helpful and organized our trip well; our driver was super friendly and waited for us at the pickup location. Would definitely recommend the day tour to every one!
