Our family vacation to Costa Rica with Tropical Tours was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience! Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish, making our trip completely stress-free. Sarah and Greivin who are Travel Tropical Tours do an amazing job with personal tours of the beautiful country of Costa Rica. My family of four- two parents and two twenty something kids had the most memorable vacation! It all started when I wanted to plan a Costa Rica trip for my family with some adventures and some beach time and I really wanted to be a full participant and not worry about directions and reading loads of information for every day of touring. I found Travel Tropical Tours and they handled everything. Sarah and I chatted for a few weeks in the Fall and went through the options for places and sites based on our timeframe. She made excellent suggestions of how to maximize our short vacation and also allow for great family time. Once we landed and started our trip which was the first week of March, Greivin and our driver Franklin met us at the airport and took us on our journey for seven days. Greivin who was born and raised here was a wealth of information on the local culture, scenery, wildlife and food. He added so much to our trip with his kind nature and interesting facts and stories. Travel Tropical Tours also has amazing connections with local vendors. A couple of our excursions were led by experts on the particular areas and our tour guide still made all the arrangements for us and confirmed and just sent us instructions the night before with how to be prepared for the day! Greivin and Sarah do a wonderful job for people who want to come and just enjoy! Also at our rental house which was our second location of the trip in Manuel Antonio we had a private chef come every morning and cook us a delicious breakfast before we headed out for our busy day! He was terrific! I cannot recommend them enough if you want a unique and local perspective trip with lots of natural beauty and easy breezy times! Pura Vida!

We had a fantastic time in Costa Rica with Sarah and Greivin. They were knowledgeable, organized and experienced. Greivin’s keen eye led to many wildlife sightings in the jungle. We highly recommend their services.

Travel Tropical Tours is amazing! They customized our tours just for the four of us, and we got in every single thing we wanted. It was flawless, and having the owner, Greiven with us the entire time was unbelievable. He has so much knowledge. Staying in communication with What's App was perfect, as we could share information immediately. The food was fabulous ( they really know the restaurants!), the accommodations were fabulous, and the private driver, David was excellent. We can't say enough about how wonderful they are to work with ( and travel with!)

The views were beautiful! Grevin was a wonderful guide, and Miguel navigated the driving magnificently. They offered great tips on awesome restaurants and were always available to take us anywhere we wanted to go. Sarah was a pleasure to work with in designing our vacation package. We enjoyed both sides of the country with ziplining, hanging bridges, hot springs and volcano, as well as the beaches, waterfalls, the national park, and a great time on the catamaran sunset cruise on our last evening there. I got terrible pain with kidney stones while there and they even went and brought me medication. And we are not hikers but wanted to see the beautiful sights, so they offered assistance and walking sticks to make the treks more doable for us. Wonderful company to work with!!😃

We had an excellent Costa Rica experience with Travel Tropical Tours. Sarah made arrangements for our group of 9 Canadians to explore the areas around La Fortuna and Monteverde for 6 days. With her expert advice and planning we had fantastic accommodations and plenty of adventures arranged for us. Our tour included a stay at Baldi Hot Springs, a sloth walk, tour of Arenal Volcano National Park, a night tour at Mistico hanging bridges, a guided tour of Curi Cancha Nature reserve, a chocolate and coffee tour, ziplining at Treetopia, ending with a bioluminescence and mangrove kayak tour. Our guide Greivin and driver Gerson were exceptional, they were the perfect match for our enthusiastic group. They kept us organized and safe, while making sure that we were having the best experiences possible. Their recommendations for food establishments and additional activities were top notch. A special shout out to Gerson for his expert driving skills on some very challenging roads. Cost Rica is so beautiful with so much to see - this private tour exceeded our expectations and allowed us to see much more than we would have been able to on our own. Thank you so much for everything!!

This by far has been our most incredible family vacation. We went with our three children, 14, 11, and seven. We had a personal driver, Miguel, and a personal guide, Jeanfred. We worked directly with Sarah who personalized an amazing adventure. We were met at the airport and every step of vacation we felt safe and cared for. Anything that we needed or any questions that we had Sarah was able to answer within hours. We planned our trip in a matter of five weeks and Sarah got us to do all the things that we wanted to do. We could not be more grateful having a personalized tour driver, and a guy is like nothing else! Miguel and Jeanfred knew all the stops, had incredible eyes and showed us all their country had to offer. Look no further than travel tours! You will not be sorry.

We are so very pleased to have interested our 25th anniversary trip to Tropical Tours. All staff was incredibly courteous, knowledgeable and exceptional with communication. All activities, hotels, and restaurants that were suggested to us were fabulous. Our driver was safe and our guide was extremely knowledgeable. I can’t think of one negative thing to say. I wish I could give Travel Tropical Tours 10 stars!!!! When I tell you this company completely changed our entire trip for the better, in EVERY WAY!!! I reached out blindly from a previous post years ago in a Facebook travel group, looking for a referral and lo and behold Sarah shared she and her partner have their own company now. She jumped in 100% and curated a perfectly tailor fit timeline of experiences that included ALL of our wants: Manuel Antonio, the beach, white faced monies, crocodiles, Kayaking, Ziplining, amazing Volcanoes views, sunset dinners, hanging bridges, hiking, the world's largest hot springs...omg so relaxing, & Sloths!!!!! We were promised sloths & they delivered!!! Mind you this was the literally THE DAY BEFORE our trip and almost everything was sold out. But she worked her magic, secured reservtions and that was just the beginning. Once we started on our journey, her partner took amazing care of us...it was like being with family. We felt safe and genuinely well cared for. I am a DRIVER, professionally...and when I say the driver was amazing from 6am to midnight and every turn in between! We are a family of 6, myself, my Hubby and our 4 adult sized kids...and the entire time I was really able to enjoy myself with peace of mind that we were in good hands. I even took them on a mission to find this one restaurant in San Jose that I found online...and they were such great sports. Heck even when my kids annoyed me I had a great time with our amazing tour guide Grei, what a gem! The only improvement I'd say is we had to pay in cash and for a party of 6 that was more cash than I was used to traveling with abroad. But it was worth every penny. I am highly confident Sarah gave us a wonderful package price with 5 star value and quality!! Now I just need them to expand to every country I wish to travel to...I'd literally come back to Costa Rica just to have more adventures with Travel Tropical Tours! I cannot thank you all enough...flying in from NY, DC and Dallas, Texas...it was our only time to be together this Summer because of our hectic & conflicting schedules...my heart is full.
