Bus weren't as regular as we'd hoped, but was a good way to see all the city and main attractions. Would recommend.
It was okay, but we wasted 3 hours trying to fix the Station 8 location. The map didn't clearly mark it. They could provide a better downloadable map with an interactive walking map compared to the City Sightseeing system.
Staff were incredibly hard to understand and rude. The audio doesn’t match with tour
We had hoped to visit Copenhagen by hop-on, hop-off in a smooth, pleasant way, but this was an unmitigated disaster with this airline. Also the driver on the bus was not friendly at all. 🫣
The experience was phenomenal, we also went on the river cruise which ended the trip off very well. The whole trip was interesting, Copenhagen is a clean place, the people are friendly and it was lovely to see all the sights.
We purchased a Hop-On Hop-Off ticket in Copenhagen and, after visiting one of the attractions, boarded the bus only to realize it was the last service of the day. To our surprise, it would not continue all the way to our intended final stop at Nyhavn, where our accommodation was located. The remaining stop was still quite far away, and it would have required at least a 40-minute walk, which was quite concerning for us at the time. We expressed our worries to the driver, Lukas, and noticed that several other passengers were also unsure about how to reach their destinations. Lukas patiently listened to everyone’s situation one by one. He then quickly contacted the previous bus driver to coordinate and reassured all of us not to worry. He kindly asked us to sit closer to him so he could better assist, and throughout the journey he made sure to remind each passenger when their stop was approaching. His attentiveness and calm communication made a stressful situation feel completely manageable. We were the last passengers to get off the bus, and we are truly grateful for Lukas’s extra effort and care. Thanks to him, we were able to reach our destination without unnecessary stress or exhaustion. His professionalism and kindness made a real difference in our experience.
AIDA stayed for 2 days there, I bought the 48 -h -ticket at noon around the cruise ship terminal of AIDAnova, observing lots and lots of people buying tickets and wondering about the amount of buses the company might have....shuttle bus took me to Number 12, tour bus picked me up. After that I was kicked out of the bus every other station...had to change buses because of different reasons: none went the announced and bought tour. I gave up and walked. Next day early in the morning good service til Number 6. Unfortunately tour guide via headphone didn't work. In the afternoon I've tried to hop on any bus at station Number 1 or 2...around 2.30pm and later no chance. Buses were full and didn't even stop or stayed closed. I was afraid of not arriving at the cruise ship on time, so I walked again through city center to reach Number 12 for getting the shuttle. The only part working was the shuttle service. Request of 50% refund was refused because of charging the board card instead of any credit card.
Terrible! Speakers muffled sound system unclear. Most stops at hotels for pickup . Canal boat a joke! Water ferry was better. Bad excursion don't bother. Viator was awful to chat with!
We pre-booked the Red bus with the Netto boat option through Expedia before arriving in Copenhagen to make it easier. Once on board the bus you are handed out headphones. There are audio sockets near the seats where you can choose your preferred language for audio commentary whilst on the tour. The driver makes an announcement at each stop and gives enough time for passengers to hop off and on. Although buses come around every 20 minutes, we did have to wait a bit longer than expected at the Nyhavn stop to continue our bus tour. I guess it's expected as it's a very busy area. We boarded the Netto boat at Nyhavn. The journey was 1 hour long, taking in many of the sights, including The Opera House, The Little Mermaid, plus the canals. The boat guide spoke in different languages. He was quite entertaining, sometimes using some colourful language! All in all, a really good way to be introduced to the beautiful city and to give ideals for further exploring, museums, gardens etc. at another time.
Highlight the attention and kindness of Jennifer: she was very attentive and explained everything wonderfully
