Wir beginnen mit der Zubereitung einiger köstlicher Salsas, gefolgt von einem authentischen und traditionellen mexikanischen Maulwurf, leckeren Enmoladas und mexikanischem Reis. Sie werden über die Zutaten aufgeklärt, über die kulinarischen und Nährwerte informiert und wie Sie jeden Teil der Mahlzeit zubereiten und kochen. Wir sind immer vegetarisch, vegan oder glutenfrei, wenn das ein Interesse ist. Wir werden die Geschichte und kulturelle Bedeutung des Maulwurfs besprechen und wie es früher die "Speise der Kaiser" war, die nur der Oberschicht der Maya- und Aztekengesellschaft vorbehalten war. Während des Unterrichts werden Sie dazu verführt, Ihre Umgebung zu erkunden: die gemütliche Höhle mit Kamin und Bibliothek; und der umliegende Innenhof mit seinen organischen Gärten und wunderschönen Landschaften. Nachdem wir das köstliche Essen zubereitet haben, werden wir uns hinsetzen und speisen und uns in wunderbare Gespräche einlassen. Zur Begrüßung genießen wir zu jeder Zeit ein reines Kakao-Schokoladengetränk und jede Menge köstlichen mexikanischen Wein. Und das alles umgeben von einer schönen und ruhigen Umgebung.

Wonderful experience, perfect in every way! I would highly recommend this company. Stop reading reviews and make a booking!
It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but when you step through you immediately, see an inviting courtyard with beautiful gardens. We were given a chocolate drink and invited to walk around and look at the place. Miguel, the chef, told us all about the plants and how they are used in cooking. The class was great! The large kitchen was open and perfect for a cooking class. We learned to make two types of salsas and mole. Miguel was patient, energetic, informative, and very organized. He encouraged us to “Cook with Love.” Then we sat down and ate our delicious meal. Miguel did not rush us out, but took time to let us enjoy the gardens and courtyards. We even got to pet two sweet dogs. I would highly recommend this cooking class! It was one of the highlights of our trip to San Miguel.
This was a memorable experience. Miguel was fantastic, entertaining and knowledgeable. As someone that cooks at home often i learned many new techniques that I will incorporate into my home cooking. The estate this takes place is worth it. Just a storied estate with many interactive experiences.
Absolute must do experience when visiting. The food was fantastic and Miguel was so delightful, patient and informative. I have a new understanding of the preparation of mole and a higher respect for the process. Perfect for beginners. Also the property is stunning
Unique, personal, one of a kind authentic experience. We had 6 total people, 4 adults, a 17 yo and 13 yo. Miguel was amazing and so patient with everyone’s cooking skills. And the venue was in an amazing property.
Beautiful venue. Great instructor with a wonderful sense of humor, One, knowledgeable and sharing recipes from his Mexican grandmother. Small class of seven. Everyone agreed it was the highlight of our trip.
