Colombo nach Kandy Bahntickets (Sitzplatzreservierung)

We were supposed to get the tickets by WhatsApp but nothing arrived and nobody contacted us. I hope that Tripadvisor will read this and arrange a refund

Very convenient and great service! Got the digital tickets sent on WhatsApp the same morning of the train and we had reserved seats with plenty of space, and the train journey went really well!

So, the tickets are accurate, the train is on time, the e-ticket works for the controllers and no need to print it out. The only thing is the agency shares the e-ticket on the night before, i.e. 5-6 hours before the train which, having booked from abroad, is quite stressful. I asked the agency why but they didn’t quite explain the reason. The hotels say they receive the train tickets 2-3 days beforehand. Plus, there is no way of knowing which class you’re traveling. From what I’ve gathered, the train is not big, there’s two carriages for each class, and the seats number are printed above the seats. Still, even though I was traveling with your reserved seat which is mentioned in the e-ticket, I was still recommended to allocate my seat swiftly so that I didn’t have to argue with some local auntie over my assigned seat. I could find my seat right away though and there was no battle over other seats in the carriage, so maybe the advice was just an extra safety measure. I just wish I learned all this information from the agency and not from random people or the hotel staff. Otherwise, all is good with the ticket.

Geesara was so helpful with getting my ticket and giving me instructions on how the train carriage system works. I was also too late to book my train ticket from Kandy to Ella so they were able to get me a ticket for this train and the ticket arrived to my hotel. Would highly recommend using their services again

This is one day Trip you can go by Train. you can get in to the Train sharp at 7am and aronud 9.30 train will reach kandy there are only few stops train will stop and nice nature environment we can see both sides. and once you go there on kandy you can visit dalada maligawa and Kandy City Center Shopping mall and on same rain you can come on colombo also, train will departure around 3 pm and it will reach colombo by 6 pm . better to pre book the ticket before you go.

Tickets delivered to hotel as promised; seats were separated by the bathroom and on opposite sides of the train car. We were able to negotiate with a passenger to trade with us, but the problem was unexpected and could have been an unhappy situation for a five-hour train ride. The service told me later they have no control over which seats they get from the train company. They should tell customers that.

Very quick and easy! Our tickets were delivered to our hotel in Kandy, no stress and great reserved seats! Really unique travel experience and beautiful landscapes through the tea fields, would highly recommend this trip!
