Pablo is an English speaking mountain guide. We had the privilege to do a private tour with him and were in good hands. Great experience. Would definitely do it again with Pablo.

I was lucky to have this adventure with 2 friends in late June 2026. All communication before the big day was excellent. Pablo responds via WhatsApp quite quickly, which allowed us to ask our questions and agree on a time to try the boots (included in the price of the activity) very easily. On the day of the activity, Pablo and his colleague came to pick us up at our hotel around 2:45 AM. They were on time, everything was perfect on that front. The car was comfortable, which made the drive quite pleasant. The fact that all the technical equipment is provided is a huge advantage. Moreover, Pablo and his colleague are friendly, and we had a good time with them. The advice I would give is not to underestimate this activity. The 500 meters of positive elevation gain may seem a bit easy at first glance, but the altitude makes breathing more difficult, and headaches can come on quickly. I strongly suggest staying a few days in Huaraz to acclimatize before experiencing this adventure. On our part, we spent a full 8 days in Huaraz and did 4 acclimatization hikes ranging from 3500 to 4600 meters before embarking on the ascent of Mateo. This experience has definitely been one of the most memorable moments of my trip. I loved it so much that I plan to return to South America to climb a 6000-meter peak in the coming years. If I return to climb mountains near Huaraz, I will certainly call on Pablo's services again.

Unforgettable experience! Professional, detailed and completely safe, I went with my partner and our guide, Pablo, advised, taught and accompanied us every moment, making this challenging activity a wonderful memory. We couldn’t be more satisfied with his professionalism and humility, we shared a morning of sport and respect for the dream nature thanks to all the logistics: small group (only my partner and me and our guide!), Pablo advised us with clothes and shoes and provided us with everything we needed, he picked us up and left us at the door of our accommodation, informed us at every step of the necessary security, how to ascend, what we would see and the history of the area... Thank you! We'll look again at the agency for future travel.

From the best experiences in Huaraz Everything from the initial management to the quality of the technical team was flawless. As it was our first time in the snow, Pablo’s support was essential: he was super professional, explained the circuit to us perfectly and was very transparent with the costs of entering the park. Today I fulfilled one of my dreams: to climb the Nevado Mateo, and I could not have had a better guide than Lucho. From the beginning it gave me all the confidence and freedom to move at my pace, enjoy the route and really live the mountain experience. When we reached the top, Lucho gave us plenty of time to take in the scenery, take photos, record, relax and do several fun things without rush. You could tell he really wanted us to live in the moment. I recommend it 100%. Your patience, good vibe and mountain experience make everything safer and more exciting. I will definitely return to fulfill the dream of climbing the Huascaran with the guide Lucho. He's the best. Thanks for everything, mountain brother.

We had an amazing trip to summit Nevada with Pablo and Javier with Andean Raju expeditions. They are extremely experienced and knowledgeable in the mountains and we felt in very safe hands. They were helpful, kind and really good fun and we had a brilliant day!

It was certainly a challenge but very rewarding to complete this experience. It was unfortunately not a clear day and this made it a little more challenging for a first timer of a snow climb, but the guides were great and it was well worth it.

Really good experience, the guides were very professional, they have very high-quality equipment, and the energy of the group was really good. Everybody was able to reach the top :)

I was traveling with my daughter in Cordillera Blanca in early August 2025 accompanied by Pablo Bello Mejia, leader of Andean Raju Expeditions. We had a great week of touring, which included climbing Nevado Mateo, and Nevado Vallunaraju (which my daughter reached together with Pablo while I had stayed in the valley). I have over 50 years of experience with high-altitude tours in the Alps, the Andes and the Himalayas. Our tours have been organized reliably and well with the help of Andean Raju Expeditions. Communication (English and Spanish) was also very good. Pablo Bello Mejia is not only an experienced climber and excellent guide, but also a warm and cordial person with whom we got along wonderfully on the tours. This is much more than just offering rope safety. Pablo took excellent care of my daughter in particular, who is less experienced and reached her first 5000m peaks with him. I can highly recommend engaging for tours in the Cordillera Andean Raju Expeditions, and would go back on tour with Pablo and his people at any time.

Matthew’s experience with the guide Paul and his companions has been extraordinary! There have been 10 organizations and they have attended to all members from the beginning to the end of the route. They have helped, adapted and, best of all, provided a high level of security for all. When I was looking to do Mateo, on the table I had many options but the best certainly with Andean! The decision was clear: Pablo and his companions carry a maximum of 3 or 4 people on the rope and that safety on the mountain is essential. You will often find cheap day tours where you take 6 (or more) tourists by guide and that is a danger. Don't save on costs in the mountains. Before hiring talk better with Pablo and go with him! On top of that you will help a small Enterprise and not the big organizations that hog all of Huaraz and Customer Service is very doubtful... Thank you team Andean! Keep it up!! Carles.
