69 Lake - Cordillera Blanca

Ist eine der besten Wanderungen in Cordillera Blanca, wo wir einen schönen See besuchen werden, der Llangancuco heißt, dann gehen wir für 3 Stunden ungefähr die Natur genießen und schließlich besuchen wir die Hauptattraktion, den 69 See und schließlich kehren wir nach Cebollapampa zurück, um den Bus zurück nach Huaraz zu nehmen.

Reiseverlauf
Wir werden um 5 Uhr morgens von Huaraz abfahren. Auf der Strecke passieren wir Hauptstädte wie Tarica, Anta, Yungar, Carhuaz, Tingua, Ranrahirca und Yungay. Von hier aus machen wir einen Abstecher nach Osten, dann machen wir in Huashao eine Pause, um zu frühstücken. Danach fahren wir weiter und betreten das Llanganuco-Tal. Teil des Nationalparks, die zweite Station ist der Llanganuco-See (Chinancocha), wo wir einige Minuten auf dem Weg sind. Die letzte Station ist Cebollapampa, wo wir zu Fuß beginnen Wir werden einen großartigen Panoramablick um den See haben. Wir werden die wunderschönen Berge sehen wie: Huascarán, Chopicalqui, Pisco, Huandoy, Yanapaccha und Chacraraju. Wir werden ungefähr 1 Stunde bleiben. und schließlich kehren wir nach Yuraccorral zurück, um mit dem Bus nach Huaraz zurückzukehren.

Overall a great experience! The team was very communicative, organized, and ensured everyone had a great time. The hike itself is challenging (especially for those not yet acclimated to the altitude), but extremely rewarding!
Here again we hired an agency but the bus said otherwise. The good but demanding guide. The hike is complex because you are given only 6 hours for the entire journey including breaks. Very beautiful place.
A great experience: despite being quite tired the walk consists of three hours out and three back. However, the reward is indescribable... one of the best landscapes I have ever visited in Peru.

Spectacular stay. Good and accessible. I was there five days. The room is very clean, has Internet service, hot water all day and breakfast. The attention of the very friendly staff. He guided me on the best options for tours and destinations. Which one to take to acclimatize. I visited Chavin de Huantar, Rocotuyoc lagoon with a lagoon in the process of thawing, the lagoons in Llanganuco and lagoon 69. During the transportation to the destinations, the guide was talking to us about everything, a little about local commerce, the history of Huaraz, its snow-capped mountains and lagoons. He allowed me to stay the last day until the bus left, he boarded me to the station. That adds a lot since he had flexibility in the schedule. I was totally satisfied. 100% recommended.
Couldn't have stayed in a better place. Sheler's hospitality is incredible! The accommodations are comfortable and the breakfast is delicious. He took care of all my trips and I didn't have to worry about anything! I highly recommend Scheler!

You would do better to book this tour directly with “Esperanza tours” which is the tour agency that actually takes you to the mountain. The agency here on viator is not directly involved and overcharges with hard currency. Despite the description that promises a “round trip” the journey ends in the city center where they ask all the passengers on board to get off and go home on their own. Added to this, they were late for the early morning pickup which is annoying as they give you a timeframe of 5h-5.20am where you “have to be ready” however they arrived 15 min later.
First trek on our trip to Peru….it was worth the 3hr (mainly uphill) hike there and back (would recommend this Laguna to that of lac humantay) but do be well adjusted to the altitude as after an initial flat walk along the river it then becomes an upward climb…the view at the top is something special. As well you start off with a guide but don’t expect them to accompany you on the hike, you just follow the path (and people).
