J.P was our excellent guide. We had a great tour and really enjoyed the hiking and the beautiful view. The included diner was also delicious😋

Washington was a fantastic guide (and good photographer) who took us on the 2 day Inca trek, visiting and explaining points of interest along the way, and letting us go at our own pace. Transport and accommodation were all very nice and our porter Gregorio sorted us out with a very welcome lunch. Organisation through the company (Sam Travel Peru) was quite straightforward and they were available on WhatsApp and email to answer questions. Would recommend 💯
We did the 4 day Inca trail with Edwin Camala as our guide and he was great! The food was also amazing.
Edwin Camala was a great guide! Highly recommend for hiking the Inca trail!
Our guide JP was amazing. From the briefing and throughout the hike he was very educated and helpful. My friend is a planner that always needs to know what ‘the plan is’ and he let us know every step of the way in detail. I felt very comfortable like I could relax and just let him take care of everything. We upgraded our hotel and train. The hotel was nice and the train ride was very beautiful. I highly recommend. I am sure all the guides are good, but JP was excellent. Not sure if you can request him, but I would try.
We just finished an amazing 2 day Inca Trail trip with Sam Travel Peru. Our guide JP was amazing! From the initial orientation in the office in Cusco explaining everything that would happen and what to expect, to checking my oxygen levels and giving suggestions when I was not feeling great, to being very knowledgeable of Inca History and answering all my questions, and also taking great photos, JP was the best. I highly recommend!
We did the trail for my 40th birthday and our trip was amazing. Our porters (Ebert and team) and our guide Edwin (Chino) was the best. Our group was 4 people, two fast hikers and us who were a bit slower and he made sure to accommodate both of our levels. The food was amazing and Edwin was the best guide through the inka trail and Machu Picchu. He definitely knows his history and he did well with the group. Also the food was amazing.
Hardworking porters, friendly customer Edwin “Chino” was a wonderful guide; funny and incredibly knowledgeable about history, geography, and of course the Inca Trail. Ebert and his crew of porters were grinding and put in the extra touches to make it special and as easy as possible.
Great experience with SAM travel for the classic Inca Trail. Edwin Chino was our guide with Ebert and team as cooks and porters. They were all very patient and helpful along the journey and made the trip exceptional. Can’t speak more highly of the entire team.
As a solo female traveler in my late 20s I can truly say I’m very pleased with the service provided with Sam Travel Peru. Josep was literally the best tour guide anyone can ask for, he was very patient, organized and knowledgeable. Also for 4 days in Cusco it wasn’t that expensive.
