An overload on the senses from the awe of scenery all along. Made all the more visual by our knowledgeable guide Renato. The porters were amazing and we were all blown away by the offerings each day from Celso the head chef. I'd recommend Trexperience to anyone thinking of doing the Inca trail.
Our family hiked the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu at the beginning of August. While it was a physically demanding trek, the amenities and team made the trip an unforgettable experience for our family. Our guide, Frank, and the assistant guides (Luis Miguel, Lourdes, Bertran & Alexander) did an incredible job, were very knowledgeable, passionate, engaging, encouraging and took care of all the details of the trip including transportation. We enjoyed learning so much about the remarkable Incan people and archaeological sites and seeing the breathtaking views both while hiking and from our amazing campsites. We highly recommend Frank for leading any trek you might want to take! The chefs and food were amazing - definitely 5-star dining on the mountaintops of Peru, along with the masseuse traveling with us. Last of all, we can’t say enough about the wonderfully gracious porters….. the trip would not have been possible without their help. This vacation will definitely be one of our family’s favorite adventures together!
The 4D / 3N Inca trail was a memorable experience! The hiking was beautiful, the food was delicious and plentiful, and the staff were beyond amazing! From our guides Jose and Lourdes who were kind, helpful and informative, to the chefs who make delicious food, and the porters who do such a difficult job to make our trip enjoyable and comfortable they are amazing! Couldn’t recommend more!
I absolutely loved my 4 day Inca trail experience, led by Danny, and his assistant guide, Danny, and head chef Leandro. The food was SO incredible, and absolute highlight, the guides were knowledgeable, resourceful, passionate, and funny. The whole team, porters included, were always so cheerful and lovely to be around. The views and scenery and ruins were exceptional and the camping experience through the wild, each on our own personal pilgrimages of some kind, was really the highlight. It really is the journey over the destination with this tour, as wonderful as Macchu Picchu is! I would go as far as saying this is the best guide and support team I've ever had on any tour ever, and the company office is very responsive and helpful. These guys bring a whole new meaning to working hard with a smile and enjoying what they do. I would strongly recommend 💚
The 4-day Inca Trail with TreXperience was definitely one of the absolute highlights of our trip to Peru. From beginning to end, the whole team was incredibly kind, helpful and hardworking. We were a group of 10 people with 2 guides and 18 porters — and seeing what the porters do every single day is just amazing. They carry so much equipment up and down the trail, set up and take down the camps, and yet you could really feel how much they enjoyed what they were doing. Their energy, smiles and good mood were contagious. A huge thank you especially to Head Porter Benedicto! And the food was honestly incredible. Chef Leandro prepared delicious and varied meals every day, including things like ceviche and lomo saltado. After hours of hiking, we really didn’t expect such amazing food on the trail! We also always looked forward to Happy Hour, with popcorn and hot chocolate — such a nice little treat after a long day of hiking. Our guides Daniel and Gonzalo were also fantastic. They were always there when we needed them, kept an eye on everyone and shared lots of interesting information about the Incas, the trail and the local culture. And of course, we will never forget Daniel’s “mucho wow wow!” Whenever we reached a particularly impressive or special viewpoint or archaeological site, it was time for a “mucho wow wow!” It definitely became our motto for the trek. And finally, arriving at Machu Picchu after four days of hiking the Inca Trail was simply incredible. Seeing it for the first time after everything we had experienced along the way made the whole journey feel even more special. A huge thank you to the entire team for making these four days such a special experience. We will definitely remember the Inca Trail and Machu Picchu as one of the best parts of our Peru trip. Mucho wow wow! Absolutely recommended!
An incredible experience! Trexperience were fantastic, very communicative in the lead up to the tour. The tour itself was fantastic, with guides Danny and Daniel, as well as head porter, Benedicto, and Head Chef, Leandro. The entire crew was incredible and the experience was truly once-in-a-lifetime. Daniel and Danny were also incredibly helpful towards my parents, who were struggling with the altitude / trek, and ensured they all finished the trek! Huge thanks to the team - I highly recommend to anyone considering the 4-day Inca Trail to check out TreXperience. Also! The food was great 👍
The experience was amazing, and very well organised. We were informed in time about our pickup times and briefing before the start of the trek. Got our bags the night before so packing was easy, also could book additional equipment if needed. During the trek itself we had Thony and Alejandro as tour guides, both were absolutely amazing. They paced the trek very nicely to meet the groups needs but also left space for individual (faster pace) if needed. They both are also very knowledgeable in what they do and shared that knowledge and experience with the group. Food was delicious and definitively always enough to support us during the hike. I can highly recommend! 😊
Such a great experience. Would definitely recommend for anyone who likes hiking. The days are moderately hard but very rewarding. The guide was so helpful with anything we needed and was very informative about the history and natural wildlife of the area.
I highly recommend the TreXperience. Everything was well organised. Pick up times, transportation to the treck and a wonder train back. Our guide told us all the stories about the Inka sites, took photos of us and the group pictures, made sure that breakfast, lunch and dinner were on time. We can't forget the most important people, porters.. they were carrying all the bags, tents, food and many more for us for 4 days ! The treck is difficult at times but they were always in front making sure we food ready and place to rest. Moreover, Ramon our cook was excellent! One of our colleagues who we met during the trip had a birthday 🎂, he made him a wonderful cake .. what a skill to do it in the middle of nowhere 👏.
We have just completed the 4-day Inca Trail and are thrilled. It was without a doubt one of the most beautiful travel experiences we have had so far. The hike was at times quite demanding – especially the second day with around 1,400 meters of elevation gain – but every single step was rewarded with spectacular views of the Andes, the beginning of the Amazon, and the impressive Inca sites. We had perfect weather during the entire tour, which of course made the experience even more unforgettable. A very special praise goes to our guide Pepe. He was exceptionally caring, always attentive, excellently organized, and kept an eye on the group at all times. You could tell how much experience and passion he brings to the Inca Trail. Thanks to him, everyone felt safe and well taken care of. We would also like to highlight our cook, Ramon. It is hard to believe what he conjured up every day under the simple conditions on the trail. Whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner – the varied two- and three-course menus were a highlight every time and far exceeded our expectations. The porters also deserve great respect. It is impressive with what performance they transport the entire camping equipment, the provisions, and the luggage over the mountains – and often significantly faster than the hiking group itself. Without their dedication, this experience would not be possible. One should know that the sanitary facilities at the campsites are sometimes very simple and the toilets in particular are in poor condition. However, that is part of the Inca Trail and is not the responsibility of the tour operator. Our conclusion: A perfectly organized tour with a great team. Many thanks to Pepe, Ramon, and all the porters for these unforgettable four days. We can recommend this tour without reservation!
