Willkommen an Bord der Christchurch Tram! Reisen Sie auf unserer neu ausgebauten Strecke und genießen Sie diese einzigartige und historische Art, die Innenstadt zu sehen. Fahrer liefern einen Live- und unterhaltsamen Kommentar. Ein voller Umlauf dauert 50 Minuten, umfasst 18 Haltestellen und es verkehren bis zu vier Straßenbahnen. Die Straßenbahnen fahren etwa alle 15 Minuten (saisonabhängig) und Ihr Ticket gilt den ganzen Tag als Hop-on-and-off-Pass. Nach der Buchung holen Sie Ihre Tickets bitte mit Ihrer Buchungsreferenznummer im Buchungsbüro in der Cathedral Junction 109 Worcester St ab. Bitte beachten Sie, dass unsere Attraktionen manchmal sehr ausgelastet sind, insbesondere wenn ein Kreuzfahrtschiff im Hafen liegt und es aufgrund der erhöhten Nachfrage zu Wartezeiten an der Straßenbahneinfahrt kommen kann.

- Aufgrund der erhöhten Nachfrage kann es am Straßenbahneingang zu Wartezeiten kommen
- Bestimmte Straßenbahnen sind rollstuhlgerecht und Menschen mit Mobilitätseinschränkungen können mit der Höhe der Straßenbahnen kämpfen
- Es gibt einen Rollstuhlzug von Haltestelle 1 in Cathedral Junction mit einer Gewichtsbegrenzung von 220kg. Bitte beachten Sie, dass der Aufzug nicht für Elektrorollstühle zugänglich ist

This is an excellent way to see and learn about the city with the option of hopping off at regular stops to explore further
Everything was easy. Tickets bought on line, we crossed the park directly to the Victoria St Tram Stop waited a few mins ( longest wait 8 mins) The trams were never crowded and no queues. The drivers provided wonderful commentary. Stops at all major sites in the city. Certainly a worthwhile experience.
The tram actually goes farther around the city centre than was expected. It’s a good idea to do the tram in the beginning of your holidays in Christchurch so you don’t miss more of what this beautiful city has to offer. Also, the tram operators (we had 2 because of shift change) had such great characters. They were very funny. Very entertaining of their stories about the different sites the city has to offer. You cannot visit Christchurch without riding the tram.
The drivers were friendly and informative, happy to help with tourists questions and give ideas on other things to do in the city
Excellent all round experience. Learnt a heap about the area - visually the viewing from the ride & all the info from the driver it was exceptionally great value. Must do!
Loved this way of getting info on the CBD. Would recommend this to be the first thing to do in Christchurch, to plan everything else you want to spend time doing for the rest of your visit.
A must do to see Christchurch city in full by doing a full loop to identify exactly where you want to shop or eat at.
The tour was very nice and the trams were very good; the city is very beautiful and there is a lot to do. The distance to get there from our hotel is also very accessible.

I pay $52 but I didn’t know I was charged $87.28 on my account because of the USD. Dollar. So my experience was very disappointing

We absolutely loved the Christchurch Tram and honestly wished we could have gone around again the next day! It was such a convenient and enjoyable way to explore the city, and we can't recommend it highly enough. We were lucky enough to ride with what I think were all four trams working that day, and every single one of them was incredibly with each tram driver being friendly, welcoming and passionate about Christchurch also with great recommendations on where to go. One of the biggest highlights was when our tram was running a little ahead of schedule. Instead of simply waiting, our driver took us into the Arts Centre and showed us the Great Hall, sharing the fascinating history of the building. It was such an unexpected bonus and something we really appreciated. Another driver even stopped the tram so guests could hop off and take photos outside, which made for some wonderful memories. It's those little personal touches that made this experience so special. Thank you to all of the amazing tram drivers for making our visit so memorable. We would recommend the Christchurch Tram to anyone visiting the city!
