Reiseverlauf
Besucher werden zwischen 7:15 und 8:00 Uhr in ihrer Unterkunft in Kapstadt abgeholt. Kurz nach der Abholung machen wir eine kurze Stadtrundfahrt, um den Rest des Tages besser zu verstehen. Wir werden historische Denkmäler und Gebäude wie Bartholomew Dias und die Sklavenhütte in der Adderley Street sehen.
Unser erster Stopp des Tages ist im Bo-Kaap. Hier haben wir eine kurze Gelegenheit zum Fotografieren mit den berühmten bunten Häusern in dieser Gegend, die auch als Cape Malay Quarter bekannt ist. Die farbenfrohen Häuser von Bo-Kaap stammen aus der Geschichte und Kultur der malaysischen und indonesischen Sklaven, die Teil des südafrikanischen Erbes sind.
Wir machen eine Küstenfahrt entlang der malerischen Atlantikküste und fahren durch Clifton und Camp's Bay. Wir halten in Maiden's Cove für eine der spektakulärsten Fotomotive des Tages. Bestaunen Sie die himmelblauen, unberührten Strände auf der einen Seite und die Bergketten der Zwölf Apostel auf der anderen Seite.
Wir setzen unsere Tour entlang dieser herrlichen Atlantikküste fort und fahren durch Llandudno, wo sich einige der teuersten Wohnimmobilien in Südafrika befinden. Wir halten im Hafen von Hout Bay an, wo Besucher die Möglichkeit haben, eine Bootsfahrt zur Robbeninsel (Duiker) zu unternehmen, um die Robbenkolonie zu besuchen. Die gesamte Bootsfahrt dauert 45 Minuten. Für diejenigen, die die Bootsfahrt auslassen möchten, steht ein Besuch des Hafenmarktes zum Einkaufen oder ein Kaffee im nahe gelegenen Kuriositätengeschäft zur Verfügung.
Wir genießen eine Fahrt entlang des Chapman's Peak Drive, der zu den fünf schönsten Touren der Welt gehört. Chapman's Peak belegt stolz den zweiten Platz in diesen Top 5. Wir werden am Aussichtspunkt Chapman's Peak anhalten, um eine unglaubliche Fotomöglichkeit mit weitläufigen malerischen Ausblicken auf das Meer zu erhalten.
Wir fahren entlang der Küste in Richtung Noordhoek Farm Village, mit endlosen unberührten Stränden und weißem Sand in der Ferne. Dies ist als Noordhoek Beach und Long Beach bekannt. Wir machen einen Zwischenstopp im Village Roast, um den besten Kaffee zu genießen, der in Kapstadt frisch gebrüht wird (optional).
Simons Town ist die Marinehauptstadt von Kapstadt und in Boulder's Beach leben die afrikanischen Pinguine. Machen Sie einen Spaziergang entlang der Promenade, um diese bezaubernden Meerestiere näher zu betrachten. Vielleicht haben Sie sogar das Glück, von ein oder zwei "Happy Feet" am Tor begrüßt zu werden.
Unsere letzte Station an diesem Tag ist das Kap der Guten Hoffnung und der Leuchtturm von Cape Point. Hier erfahren Besucher mehr über das Navigationssignal Bartholomäus Dias und das Navigationssignal Vasco Da Gama. Beide Leuchtfeuer wurden aus Stein gefertigt und mit einem Kreuz oben auf jedem weiß gestrichen. Ein Besuch am Kap der Guten Hoffnung ist ohne ein Foto hinter dem Namensschild am Kap der Guten Hoffnung nicht komplett.
Dies ist der südwestlichste Zipfel Afrikas und zugleich der Treffpunkt zweier Meeresströmungen: der kalten Benguela und der warmen Agulhas-Strömung. Die meisten unserer Besucher genießen die kurze Wanderung zum Cape Point Lighthouse vom Kap der Guten Hoffnung. Wenn Sie die kurze Wanderung jedoch überspringen möchten, können Sie gerne die Flying Dutchman-Standseilbahn nutzen, um auf den Gipfel zu gelangen. Wir empfehlen das Mittagessen im Two Oceans Restaurant oder ein Essen zum Mitnehmen im nahe gelegenen Restaurant.
Unser Rückweg zurück nach Kapstadt führt über den Boyes Drive, durch Fishhoek und Halt am Shark Spotters View Point in Muizenberg mit einem Abstecher zu Ihrer Unterkunft zwischen 17:30 und 18:00 Uhr.

Our guide, on the morning of the tour, told us we were being given the wrong tour- a tour we had partly done the day before and asked whether we would wait in the bus 2 hours whilst other guests visited Table Mountain. We were also told that a visit to Seal Island was not possible which again according to other tour operators was not accurate. We have now booked with another operator and are waiting to be picked up. I am afraid that this company cannot be trusted.

This tour is great where it covers most of major attractions such as Table Mountain, Cape of good Hope, Cape Point, Bantry Bay beach, Boulder Beach penguin colonial, BoKaap neighborhood. If anyone is expected to take time for each place that won’t happen. The tour guide did time management well so he can cover these many places in a day. Well done! We’d recommend this tour!
