Reiseverlauf

Our tour guide was amazing . The driver was very experienced and navigated through the chaos effortlessly
Emotional but beautiful experience. I truly enjoyed all of this experience. You must book. You won’t regret it. The customer service is exact
Ruby with NSROMA ADVENTURES was absolutely amazing. We book a few tours with her. Which was this one, as well as the Naming Ceremony. Ruby paid attention to detail, was very prompt for pick up times, and very professional and caring. Ruby was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain the culture. She encouraged us to ask questions and become one with the experience. I have only been back home for a week, and I'm already planning my return to Ghana. If you are going to Ghana, these tours are a "must see". I suggest you book with NSROMA ADVENTURES; you will not be disappointed.
My driver was very good. Considering the road conditions, it was a 'smooth' ride. I was able to fulfill a life long dream.
Our host, Prince, was wonderful. He informed us of his arrival time for pickup and was on time. He was very knowledgeable about Ghana's history and culture and he took the time to answer all of our questions. We found Prince to be a warm, friendly, patient, and a great conversationalist. A great Host!!
My husband and I just returned from our first trip to Ghana. It was primarily a work trip and we didn’t have a lot of time to explore. Our one free day we spent visiting the Cape Coast Castle and Assin Manso River and we could not be happier with our experience. Prince was an excellent guide - from the moment we started the tour until he dropped us at the airport 10 hours later - Prince was a wealth of knowledge and a kind and intuitive companion. We intend to return with our young adult children and will definitely reconnect with Prince to explore other parts of Ghana. Highly recommend!
Prince was very experienced, friendly and knowledgeable driver and guide. Our experience was seamless and enjoyable. Communication with Ruby the coordinator was very timely, friendly, helpful and thorough.
I’m glad you loved the experience. It was an absolute pleasure
I had the privilege of taking a private tour with Ruby, and it was an unforgettable experience! Ruby is a fun and energetic young lady who made the entire journey engaging and enjoyable. We visited incredible sites in Ghana, including Cape Coast Castle, Assin Manso Slave River, and the Door of No Return. Each stop was deeply powerful and humbling, offering so much history and meaning. To top it off, we had lunch at a stunning spot on the beach, which was the perfect way to reflect on the day. This was hands down one of the best private tours I’ve ever taken. Thank you, Ruby, for making this experience so special—I highly recommend her to anyone visiting Ghana!
Thank you for a detailed review of your experience. It was a pleasure hosting you
This experience was incredible. Ruby was our tour guide, and she was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and a joy to spend the day with. I highly recommend this tour, and I also recommend connecting with Ruby ahead of time. She was able to set up a separate custom experience for us on a day we'd left open, and having the same guide for multiple days was a great benefit and comfort. The venues, tours, food, and car rides were all wonderful, poignant, and educational. This experience was particularly powerful as a Black American traveling with my Black mother, aunty, and grandmother. The guides at the various locations emphasized the homecoming aspects of these locations, and, in particular, the "last bath" has been reworked to be the "first bath of return." The guide there perfectly balanced the horrors of what happened in that location (and the transatlantic slave trade in general) with the impact and resilience that allowed us to be in that same spot, hundreds of years later. A side note for American tourists, Accra and Ghana are unlike what you're used to; roads are bumpy, pothole-y, and sometimes unpaved; people drive very fast and often pass into incoming traffic; and a ton of pedestrians walk among traffic. I just wanted to pass on that information so folks aren't caught off guard (or try to blame the tour guides!). It's all part of the culture, and I can't recommend enough going through it all with an experienced local guide like Ruby.
I feel very grateful to have provided you with this experience and for you taking the time to write a very detailed review of it. The Cape COast tour is definetely a must do to connect to your roots but I'm glad we got to to other tours on your free days to make the best out of your trip to Ghana with your family. Medase for the review and encounter. Ghana is home!
My husband and I had a wonderful emotionally fulfilling experience with Ruby. The tour is just as it reads lunch was spectacular and so close to our next experience. Ruby was on time super knowledgeable about all things Ghana.
Thank you Rashida for the review. It was a pleasure meeting you and your husband and sharing this experince with you. Happy New Year!
