Die Tour beginnt am Hafen, wo Sie in einen klimatisierten Reisebus steigen und eine einstündige Fahrt entlang malerischer Straßen unternehmen, vorbei an malerischen Dörfern auf dem Weg nach Cahuita. Dies ist ein wunderschöner Nationalpark, der einen großartigen weißen Sandstrand mit üppigem Regenwald verbindet. Während des Naturspaziergangs weist unser Naturführer auf die verschiedenen Tierarten im Park hin, wie Affen, Faultiere, Leguane, Tukane und andere. Nach dem Naturspaziergang ist eine Snackpause in Cahuita Town enthalten, wo Sie ein Getränk genießen oder die lokalen karibischen Aromen probieren können. Bei der Rückkehr zum Pier ist ein Halt bei einer Bananenplantage inbegriffen, um mehr über diese wichtige Ernte für die Wirtschaft Costa Ricas zu erfahren. Neben Bananen lernen Sie Schokolade und andere wichtige Produkte dieser reichen Region kennen. Ein Souvenirgeschäft ist ebenfalls Teil der Tour vor der Rückkehr zum Schiff.

Ein wunderschöner Nationalpark, etwa 1 Stunde vom Pier entfernt, mit einer reichen Tierwelt, Vegetation und karibischer Kultur. Der Cahuita-Nationalpark ist ein terrestrischer und mariner Nationalpark im karibischen Naturschutzgebiet La Amistad in Costa Rica an der südlichen Karibikküste in Limón, verbunden mit der Stadt Cahuita. Cahuita ist in Costa Rica einzigartig für seine enge Beziehung zur Gemeinde, ein Beispiel für ein gemeinsames Management zwischen der Gemeinde und der Regierung für eine nachhaltige Entwicklung auf Gemeindeebene. Die Teilnahme von Parkwächtern und das Gemeinschaftsleben zeichnen sich durch ein gemeinsames Governance-Management aus. In diesem Ökosystem, eingebettet in die Karibik, aber mit Waldumgebung, finden Sie Arten wie Waschbären, Faultiere, Leguane und Basilisken. Sie werden auch Schlangen wie Lametta und Tamagá und Vögel wie den schwarzen Falken bemerken. Im Park können Sie Freizeitsport betreiben und auf den Wegen wandern oder einfach die Strände schwimmen oder sich sonnen.
Puerto Limón, allgemein bekannt als Limón, ist die Hauptstadt und das Hauptzentrum der Provinz Limón sowie des Kantons Limón in Costa Rica. Es ist die siebtgrößte Stadt in Costa Rica mit über 55.000 Einwohnern und Heimat der afro-costaricanischen Gemeinde. Die karibische Provinz ist ein Naturparadies, das aus einer Kombination von dichten Dschungeln, imposanten Bergen und paradiesischen Stränden besteht. Limon hat den höchsten Anteil an geschütztem Land in Costa Rica sowie eine große Vielfalt an Flora und Fauna. Die Vegetation ist üppig, ebenso wie die Kulturen in der gesamten Provinz.

Sie können Ihre Tour buchen und wir passen die Zeit entsprechend mit Ihrer Schiffsankunft an. Wenn Sie verspätet versenden, warten unsere Mitarbeiter bis zum Schiffsanleger auf Sie und erlauben Ihnen, von Bord zu gehen. Wir führen alle unsere Touren entsprechend mit der Ankunft des Schiffes durch.

This is the same tour offered by our cruise ship but was a better value. You get three different experiences - 1) a visit to a nearby national park with sloths, monkeys and some birds, 2) an organic banana plantation where you learn both about the fruit and the packaging process and 3) a canal tour on a boat offering close-ups of sloths and caimans. Our guide Nathalie was a delight - very informative, positive and professional.. Highly recommended!

This was a well organized day with a biologist as our guide. He was very knowledgeable, professional and personable. He was aware of the needs of the group and offered spot stop options for those who were mobility challenged. The driver was aware and watched for opportunities to see wildlife en route and stopped for amazing sites. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This was a great tour and our guide Natalie was exceptional. The bus and boat were clean and comfortable and Natalie was full of knowledge about the area and all the species. I learned so much in the 6 hours of the tour. Highly recommend this one!

Our guide Ariel was great-Pickup outside the port was easy, transportation was very comfortable and the locations visited were amazing. Ariel shared his wealth and breath of knowledge, never rushed us at the three destinations - Cahuita National Perk, the banana plantation and a river tour and made it a really interesting and fun day. As warned, bring Deet as the mosquitos can be a little aggressive and carry water and snacks as we spent six hours on the tour. There is food and drink that can be bought at the banana plantation and the prices are reasonable. A really nice thing our guide did- let us know that we would be arriving back at the port on time, several times during the day.
