Ihre Tour dauert zwischen 3,5 und 4 Stunden und beginnt mit einer atemberaubenden Fahrt entlang der landschaftlich reizvollen Route zu den Butchard Gardens. Auf dem Weg zeigen wir Ihnen das Leutnant Governor's Mansion, Criagdarrow Castle und die besten Aussichten auf die Insel auf dem Mount Tolmie. Dann geht es los Butchart Gardens ist einer der weltweit führenden Blumengärten. Jennie Butchart begann 1904, diese wunderschöne 55 Hektar große Landschaft aus dem verlassenen Kalksteinbruch ihres Mannes Robert zu formen. Das Ergebnis war der dramatische Sunken Garden, ein Spiegel der Verschönerungsbewegung des frühen 20. Jahrhunderts und eine außergewöhnliche Leistung in der kanadischen Gartenarbeitsgeschichte. Als Spiegelbild ihrer Weltreisen schufen die Butcharts auch einen Japanischen Garten, einen Italienischen Garten und einen Rosengarten. Durch die nachfolgenden Generationen der Butchart-Familie hat The Gardens einen Großteil seines ursprünglichen Designs beibehalten und setzt die viktorianische Tradition fort, die herausragenden Blumendekorationen saisonal zu verändern. Nach dem Besuch der Gärten beginnen wir unsere Tour durch Victoria, einem Ort, an dem sich die entspannte Modernität der Westküste mit den traditionsreichen britischen, europäischen und asiatischen Traditionen verbindet Hotel, Inner Harbor und der Altstadt Bastion Square beenden wir mit einem Blick auf Fisherman's Wharf. Sie haben ungefähr 1,5 Stunden Zeit, um die Gärten zu genießen, die für abendliche Besichtigung voll beleuchtet sind.

Bobby was our driver and he was extremely informational along our trip and very pleasant to be with. Excellent driver. The ferry ride was fun and we got to see two pods of Orcas! Butchart Gardens was amazing as was Victoria. Bobby gave us lots of info on what to see and where in both places. Highly recommend this tour and if you get Bobby, you’ve hit the jackpot! Long day but with every minute!
The day long tour was very informative and included my bucket list trip to Butchart Gardens. Our bus driver/guide, Anthony knew a lot about the Vancouver/Victoria area. He guided us safely onto and off the ferry boat. He gave us an ample amount of time to explore both the Gardens and downtown Victoria.
Took this tour from Norwegian cruise line while on the Bliss cruising Alaska. Considering we dock in Victoria at 7:30pm, this tour I think is special as it's in the evening to the gardens. I love the garden lit up at night. However also felt we missed out on a lot and would like to see the garden during the day. I would visit again during the day, but feel once during the evening is enough.
What a splendor of flowers in spring, with many tulips and other spring flowers. All gardens are beautiful and landscaped with great care. A feast for the eyes, with many photo opportunities. The gardens are easy to reach and the parking is well signposted.
Perfect day even in the rain. Our van driver arrived on time to pick us up at the hotel. Drove us to the ferry and over to Victoria Island. Then off to the most beautiful gardens I have ever seen. 55 acres of manicured gardens that are so well maintained. After walking the gardens we were off to the city and learned all about Victoria and its rich history. Had lunch at Milestones which was quite good. Our driver was great and made sure we were comfortable all day.
Alex was amazing and the entire day ran very smoothly. The ferry ride was fantastic the gardens breathtaking, Victoria Islam’s is beautiful well worth spending time time. Highly recommend this tour
Our guide was Anoushca and she was knowledgeable, kind, and showed us the beauty of Victoria and the Gardens. We learned much about the culture, saw beautiful sights, and were in awe of the Butchart Gardens. Our tour was private (just four of us) and we felt like royalty. Such personal care and stellar information and sights. I highly recommend this tour. We had a sweet connection with our guide and have prayed for her and her husband ever since our tour.

This tour is not what they claimed it to be. They decided to add another party to my tour which caused us to have to wait for 3 other people for an hour. Because of that the driver took us to a petting zoo to kill time. This delay got us back at 3:30 instead one 1:00. I blame the tour group that Viator booked with since they were trying to get 2 tours in one. Very unprofessional. Viator has let me down. I have booked many a tour with them but this was the WORST!!!!!
This is THE tour to take in Victoria! Anouscha was an excellent driver, guide and she is the 'duck whisperer'!!! She showed us all over the Victoria area and seeing the Butchart Gardens in the evening was spectacular! We smiled, laughed and had a great 4 hour excursion with this company!

Anoushka was great guide. Gave us a wonderful city tour with stops at parks (fed ducks and peacocks), mansions, panoramic views. Gave good historical background and was very knowledgeable. Introduced us to Garden and let us explore on our own which worked out well. Highly recommended.
