Ein großartiges Erlebnis! Sie erleben die antike mexikanische Welt der Mayas und Azteken, für die Schokolade als Getränk der Götter galt und Kakaobohnen ein Zahlungsmittel darstellten. Schokoladenliebhaber erfahren alles über die Herstellung von Schokoladentrüffeln, Schokoladen-Süßwaren, -Hohlfiguren und Schokoriegeln.

Das Museum Choco-Story befindet sich in Brügge, untergebracht in einem alten Gebäude aus dem 15. Jahrhundert. Das Museum erstreckt sich über 4 Stockwerke und erzählt die Geschichte von Kakao und Schokolade. Mehr als 1.000 antike Objekte und 80 Informationstafeln erklären die Geschichte, wie sich Schokolade von ihren Ursprüngen als würziges Maya-Getränk zu der köstlichen Süßigkeit entwickelt hat, die wir alle heute lieben. Der Kinderbesuch wurde speziell mit niedrigen Informationstafeln und Vitrinen gestaltet. Der Besuch endet mit einer Demonstration, wie man belgische Schokoladenbonbons herstellt, die probiert werden können.

Very well-made museum. The audio guide is very comprehensive and the visit is interesting.

The live chocolate-making demonstrations are always a highlight, and it’s wonderful to hear they added value to your visit. Thanks to the many stairs (elevator available) a separate and very nice experience. Interesting facts, fun decor and clear information made the visit a memorable memory. Especially the smooth and sparkling bilingual demonstration (Spanish and Dutch) was a real pleasure. Bravo!
We had a very nice visit to the chocolate museum. The exhibition is informative, varied, and really fun. We especially recommend the interactive games, where you can collect points and even become the daily winner – this adds extra motivation and entertainment. The audio guide in German was clear, well-structured, and provided many interesting background details. A real highlight for us was the chocolate tasting, especially the Ambar variety, which we particularly enjoyed. We also found the praline presentation with live explanation and subsequent tasting very successful. A small point of criticism: The shop seemed a bit too small to us, and the selection could be larger. There is certainly still potential for improvement. Overall, we can definitely recommend the visit – a great experience for all chocolate lovers and the curious.
This is definitely for younger kids. Not great for adults. The best part was the very end where they did a very short demonstration. And tasting.

We weren’t sure what to expect so we had no expectations. This beginning of the tour was a bit bland and somewhat dull and basic but stick with it - it gets better as it goes on. Chocolate does have a wild history. It was cool to get the in person demonstration as well. Overall it was a nice display and attraction.

Interesting facts but a lot of audio to listen to. too many cups and jugs. Very interesting to learn about the process of making chocolate and why chocolate is expensive
