Private Tour durch Borobudur, Merapi Vulkan und Prambanan Tempel

The private tour was easy and worry free. It was a long day as the attractions are spread-out and each attractions took 1 to 1.5 hours. Our driver Windra picked us up from the hotel, gave heads up of what go expect prior to each attraction. We have excellent guides for each attractions: Suseno for Prambanan - Hindu Temple, Hatta for Borobudur - Buddhist Temple, and Boim for the Merapi 4x4 jeep experience. This tour is perfect for people with limited time by hitting the “Big Three” attractions in a day.

An experience I would do again; all three visits are exceptional and essential if you want to visit Yogyakarta and the area. The punctuality and kindness of our guide Arya was also the most interesting and convenient part; he accompanied us and waited for us at every stop so we didn't have to worry about anything, recommended!

Highly recommended! This is the best trip I've had to Indonesia! Today I was very lucky to meet our guide, I really have to give a super awesome review! From the first meeting, I could feel that he is very enthusiastic, serious, and especially patient. Along the way, it's not just about taking us to attractions; they really take the time to tell us about the history, culture, and various interesting stories, turning a trip that was originally just about "seeing buildings and scenery" into a genuine experience of understanding Indonesian history and culture. Especially after arriving at the scenic spot, his explanations were very detailed, and it wasn't the feeling of just reading a guide script, but rather he would elaborate based on what we were interested in. We can ask him anything, and he will answer very seriously, even for some detailed questions, he will never be perfunctory. Many historical backgrounds that were completely unknown before suddenly become very interesting after his explanation. And he is really, really responsible! They will proactively take care of our situation along the way, remind us of things to note, and will also consider our time and stamina, without rushing us too much to keep up with the schedule. The whole process was very relaxed and comfortable, completely without that "rushing to check off sights" feeling. What impressed me the most is that he didn't feel like just a guide, but more like a local friend I've known for a long time. It's very natural when chatting, and it allows us to understand the life, history, and culture here from a local's perspective. If you travel to Bali, I really recommend hiring him as a guide! Professional, enthusiastic, patient, responsible, and truly knowledgeable about local history and culture. Meeting such a good guide on this trip to Yogyakarta was a very lucky thing for me throughout the entire journey. Full marks aren't five stars, I want to give it 100 stars!

My driver Arya was exceptional, he boosted the experience to another level with his professionalism, being very personable and positive throughout the tour. There were a couple of coffee stops that Arya picked which were great, he also offered a lunch location however I declined. He looked after me very well. He was extremely helpful, polite and a very safe driver given the roadways and traffic in Yogyakarta. He is certainly an asset to your company. Further, my driver of the Jeep at Merapi named Fanny was exceptional, safe, professional and friendly when touring Merapi, he has a great knowledge base of the area and history, further his English is exceptional. He made the whole experience even better.

Great walk, even being far the route. Our driver was the BUDI, excellent person! It's worth it.

We had great day with our driver Vega. He was very knowledgeable and made sure we all had a great time. Pick up was on time and communication beforehand was very good. Vega suggested to do the temples in reverse order to beat the crowds which actually worked out very well - this way we got to take pictures at Borobudur in the golden light of the late afternoon. Both temples are amazingly beautiful and definitely worth visiting. The jeep tour was a fun intermission, unfortunately Merapi was hidden in clouds the day we went but on a clear day I’m sure it’s a spectacular sight. The mini museum was interesting for a perspective on the force of destruction of one of the most active volcanoes on earth. All in all, thank you for the amazing day!

The experience itself was amazing. My driver/guide Vega was so friendly and helpful, I could tell that he genuinely enjoys showing tourists around his hometown. He shared lots of local insights into the culture and even introduced me to a new kind of fruit! He was very kind and thoughtful. The Borobudur sunrise tour is a must if you can afford it and if you are a photographer or nature lover. Mount Merapi was an opportunity to explore a different side of life in Java. Prambanan was magnificent and impressive!
