Absolutely wonderful day trip from Yogyakarta! This is the kind of day that travel dreams are made of. Two awe-inspiring, 9th-century, palatial temple complexes (Borobudur, a Buddhist world wonder, and Prambanan, a Hindu masterpiece) in one day! The tour was very professionally organized and well timed. Communication was great, and began the day I booked the tour, months ago. My guide/driver was Nusrul, and it was a joy spending the day talking with him about Indonesia as we drove between Yogyakarta and these magnificent UNESCO World Heritage sites. We did business with Wahyu Travel Indonesia to make Borobudur and Prambanan Temples. Communications with Wahyu are very good and are done in both French and English impecably. Utama Wijava was our guide. We liked it so much that we asked for its services for 2 more days. He is a thoughtful, polite guide/driver with excellent driving. Pak Gito was our driver for two day trips: Borobudur and Prambanan one day, the Mt Merapi countryside dnd jungle the next, He was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful every way, including allowing us to sample local good crops along the way (snake fruits), and helping us with the purchase of our train ticket for the next keg of our journey.
