Black Taxi Tour und Crumlin Road Gaol Tour Combo

Beschreibung

Thanks for sharing your knowledge and personal experiences of growing up during the troubles. Your tour presented as unbiased and showed respect for both sides. We definitely recommend a tour with Danny from cab tours. Thanks!
Brilliant, interesting tour. Jordon our driver was great and very knowledgeable.
Thank you for your 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ review we are glad you enjoyed your belfast black taxi tour with cab tours Belfast
Thoroughly enjoyed and our guide was informative and quite knowledgeable. I like that before driving anywhere he gave us a bit of education and history. My complaint only is that I expected an English black cab as picture and description depicted but instead it was a black Mercedes van which being bigger made it harder to hear. That was disappointing.

7 of us had the most amazing experience, guided by the inimitable Isaac in his 7 seater Mercedes! Can't recommend this company highly enough. Thank you Isaac for opening our eyes to both sides in equal measure.

This tour is an absolute must if you are visiting Belfast. Martin, our guide, was brilliant and gave a fascinating if quite sad insight into how politics has influenced life in the city.

It wasn't quite clear where we had to pick the taxi up. We were given a number and Street name ie 3 Donegal Square East but really it's the taxi stand (like a bus stop) on the pavement outside that address. Luckily our driver for the tour, Jake, was there waiting for us and approached us and welcomed us into his very clean taxi cab. Jake was very knowledgeable about the history of the area and gave a completely unbiased review. We learnt many things about the troubles, a lot of which surprised us and our hearts went out to all those innocent people who died and suffered during those times. The tour itself stopped about 3 or 4 times, where we got out of the taxi to walk around particular areas in order to see and experience things properly and I must admit, it was a bit of a struggle for us getting in and out as we are disabled, plus it was raining, which obviously could not be controlled, although Jake provided us with adequate cover by way of a good size umbrella each. After the taxi tour we were dropped at Crumlin Road Gaol, where Jake took us to the entrance and made sure we had our tickets and knew what to do before leaving us. The gaol itself was very interesting as well but again was a little overshadowed by our disabilities because of the amount of standing, watching videos about the particular areas of the gaol we were in. There were seats in some of the areas but not enough. Even though we could not manage to spend as much time as we would have liked there, because of the lack of seating by the videos, we thoroughly enjoyed the tour and just wished that we could have spent the time to absorb everything more thoroughly.
