So weit unsere Reise von Kapstadt nach Aquila mit einem Halt am Worcester via Huguenot Tunnel. Verspricht ein aufregendes Abenteuer durch das Westkap von Südafrika. Worcester, eine charmante Stadt umgeben von sanften Weinbergen und majestätischen Bergen, bietet einen Vorgeschmack auf das reiche landwirtschaftliche Erbe der Region. Als nächstes wagen Sie sich durch den Huguenot Tunnel, ein technisches Wunderwerk, das sich durch den Berg schneidet und einen direkten Weg zu den malerischen Landschaften des Westkaps bietet. Schließlich erreichen Sie das private Wildreservat Aquila, wo Sie auf einer Safari aufregende Begegnungen mit Wildtieren erleben und vor der Kulisse der Karoo-Ebenen ikonische afrikanische Tiere wie Löwen, Elefanten und Nashörner beobachten können.

Unser erster Halt wird das Weingut Fairview sein, wo wir bis zu 5 Premiumweine gepaart mit einer Vielzahl der besten Käsesorten dieses Auszeichnung Weinguts probieren werden. Fairview ist eine Farm, die eine Sammlung von Kleinstunternehmen beherbergt, die alle ein gemeinsames Ziel verfolgen – handwerkliche und nachhaltige Produkte mit Fokus auf edlen Wein und Käse zu schaffen.
Das private Wildreservat Aquila liegt in der Nähe von Kapstadt in Südafrika. Es ist ein beliebtes Safariziel, das Tagesausflüge und Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten bietet. Besucher können eine Vielzahl von Wildtieren sehen, darunter Elefanten, Löwen, Nashörner und Giraffen, und gleichzeitig die wunderschöne Naturlandschaft des Westkaps genießen.

This Aquila Game Tour with wine tasting and lunch was amazing! Very Smooth and we loved the goat cheese pairings. The open-vehicle safari delivered thrilling Big 5 sightings: elephants, lions, rhinos, buffalo, and even a leopard! . Flawless organization, warm staff, and fantastic value. highly recommend!

There was a brilliant peaceful atmosphere filled with excitement despite the Danger of going into the wild!!!The animals were majestic and you could just admire the sight of God's creation and the feeling of all other pressures being paused for nothing but a brief moment well we were in the Kruger national park

The overall experience was average and did not fully meet expectations. Although the reserve itself is beautiful, the admission fee felt expensive for what was offered. The safari drive felt rushed, and the length of the visit was shorter than expected. The atmosphere was calm but not very engaging, and the crowd size made the experience feel less personal. Staff were polite, but the guide provided limited information. Overall, this tour is best suited for first-time visitors who want a basic safari experience and have limited time.

I went to Lesedi Cultural Village in North West for the weekend with my friends, and the place was beautiful. The food was top tier, I especially liked their breakfast options, moreover, I learnt a lot about South African cultural heritage and ways to preserve it. The staff were really kind and helpful, there weren’t too many people so I got more out of the place without interruptions.
