Auf dieser Tour werden wir den Nationalpark "Blue Eye" und die Festung Lekuresi erkunden. Beide Orte sind attraktive Touristenorte, reich an Geschichte und Schönheit. Es ist eine sehr malerische Gegend, in der kristallklares Wasser aus dem Berg Mali i Gjërë sprudelt. Diese Quelle ist die größte und interessanteste Quelle unter den anderen 18 Quellen, die aus Mali i Gjërë stammen. Es wurde zum Naturdenkmal erklärt und hat eine ovale Form ähnlich der Form eines Auges. Die Quelle ist bis zu 50 m tief und von dichter und üppiger Vegetation umgeben. Alles in allem bietet die Gegend sowohl für Erwachsene als auch für Kinder eine großartige Auszeit.

So unerwartet spektakulär wie die Küste Südalbaniens ist (und es ist großartig!), Was Sie erwarten würden, gibt es Sehenswürdigkeiten, die eher an das Mittelmeer erinnern als an die Tropen. Doch wie wir inzwischen wissen, ist Albanien das Land des Unerwarteten! Das Land verbirgt sein kleines tropisches Paradies, das treffend das blaue Auge (auf Albanisch: Syri i Kaltër) genannt wird. Das Blue Eye ist die vielleicht atemberaubendste Sehenswürdigkeit Albaniens und liegt etwa 30 Autominuten von der Küstenstadt Saranda entfernt auf der Straße nach Gjirokastra (alle Sehenswürdigkeiten übrigens!). Der Überraschungsfaktor trägt sicherlich zur Schönheit des gesamten Erlebnisses bei. Die Tropen in Albanien zu finden ist keine Kleinigkeit! Vielleicht ist es sinnlos, die Multidimensionalität und Tiefe dieser surrealen Schönheit zu beschreiben, aber man muss es versuchen! Die Landschaft, die zum Blauen Auge führt, deckt diese Anomalie der Natur auf, da Sie von Palmen, wilden Farnen und tropischen Pflanzen sowie dichter, bergiger Waldvegetation aus Eichen und Bergahorn auf einmal umgeben sind! Diese Vegetation wird durch die Quelle, die den Berg hinunter in den Fluss Bistrica fließt, üppig und herrlich gehalten. Insgesamt 18 Quellen sind auf dem Gelände verteilt! Die Süßwasserquelle des Gjerë-Gebirges (in englischer Sprache: Wide) mündet in das Blaue Auge und bildet ein natürliches Becken mit einer Tiefe von etwa 50 Metern. Oder, so sagen sie! Die tatsächliche Tiefe wurde noch nicht bestimmt. Viele Taucher haben vergeblich versucht, dem auf den Grund zu gehen.
Besuchen Sie die Stadt Saranda und die Ksamil-Inseln von ihrem Berg aus. Von der Burg sind nur die alten Mauern übrig geblieben, aber ein kleines Restaurant im Inneren hat einen Teil der Ruinen in eine Restaurantterrasse verwandelt. Genießen Sie von diesem Café aus den Blick auf das Meer und die Stadt, während Sie die traditionelle Küche probieren. Während der geschäftigen Hochsaison müssen Sie sich möglicherweise der Bar nähern, um zu bestellen. Der Eintritt in die Burg ist frei und Sie können durch die Steinmauern streifen. Tragen Sie jedoch geeignete Wanderschuhe, um Ihre Füße vor Stößen und Steinen zu schützen. I called to book a day tour to Lekursi castle, Blue Eye and Gjirokaster last minute. Leka Tours were able to give me a tour the next day. Customer service is excellent, they communicated to me swiftly. The lovely female tour guide was extremely knowledgable and informative. She was also kind and friendly. I learnt a lot about Albanian history, geography and culture from her. It was also a hot day, the minivan was comfortable, had AC and charging ports. Our tour of the Blue Eye with Halil was incredible. There were no extra costs and he was so knowledgeable about the history of every site he took us to. The tour lasted around 2 hours, and Halil was so lovely and accommodating to our requests. We would come back just for halil
Highly recommend this tour! It completely exceeded our expectations. The transportation was comfortable, Halii was an amazing guide. He was knowledgeable, friendly, passionate, and had a great sense of humor, which made the whole trip even more enjoyable. He shared lots of interesting stories and facts along the way, and at the Blue Eye he didn't just leave us on our own—he took the time to explain things and chat with everyone. We also got to stay at the castle until sunset, and the view was absolutely beautiful. Definitely worth it! Btw the Blue Eye entrance fee was included.

Halil was our guide and he was so nice and looked out for us the whole time. Halil was incredibly knowledgeable and we learned so much on this tour. I highly recommend the tour more people should do it. Blue eye was beautiful don’t go expecting it to be big and full of activities.. it’s more so a nice place to take in nature and relax from the busy world we are in. Halil also took us to the castle and there we had amazing views.
