This ticket has 3 components. The fort is the only experience worth having. Views are amazing. The dinner is overpriced and not that exclusive. Concert is in a closed hall with no ventilation and heat. The songs are not as per today times. Anyone who has heard Mozart tunes knows they are good but monotonous. Not worth listening to a whole dedicated concert. If you still want to get the Dinner, don't book as part of package. Have al carte menu at panorama restaurant, much better and more options. If you want to attend a concert, don't go for mozart, attend the symphony orchestra in Vienna.
Excellent concert in a beautiful castle with tremendous views of the sunset. A magical night! The musicians were extremely talented and professional.
The concert was excellent. The view from the fortress was amazing. However, I was extremely disappointed with the seats. I had no idea tt the seats booked were 2nd class seats and and 2nd class seats were the last row. I could not upgrade to 1st class or seats in the front. Ans since the seats were on a flat ground, I could hardly see anything. I wish this was made known to me at the time of booking.
The best chamber music in the world in the city it was created. Performed in a castle/fortress at the top of that city, and you get perfection.
We loved this, particularly as there was variety in the programme that the musicians clearly enjoyed too.
An unbelievable experience. Amazingly talented musicians. The room at the top of the castle is so impressive. Definitely worth the money. A highlight of our holiday in Austria.
Excellent music and we loved the experience of enjoying music at the Fortress for our first night in Salzburg. Especially loved hearing Eine Kleine Nachtmusik and the encore which was a tango. Would have been nice if there was a free program of the music played.
This is the 3d of 3 classical concert reviews from our cycling trip that included Vienna and Salzburg. Like the small ensemble (trio) at Mozarthaus in Vienna, this one was also excellent. Very good musicians -- especially the first violinist -- and a decent selection of compositions (albeit pretty standard local fare). Thoroughly enjoyed it and tics included the tram up to the castle and back. Very cool setting. (I gave a rather negative review to the Schoenbrunn castle (Orangery) concert in Vienna for comparison.
The musical performances were stellar, and the musicians were very engaging! Taking the funicular at the fortress was also a fun way to start and end the concert :) The hall was beautiful with stunning views of the surrounding mountains in the background! The only bad part was that the room was very warm with the recent heat wave (EU June 2026) - so being a fan if the weather looks like it will be hot!
Beautiful place to experience the music of Mozart, music was played so beautifully what fantastic talented people. Highly recommend
