Die Tour startet an unserem Treffpunkt vor dem English Sports Shop im Zentrum von Hamilton. Von dort aus genießen die Gäste 3 Stunden an 3 Orten für einen unglaublichen Abend! A lot of food! And cocktails! Yummy! No “traditional” Berumudian food if you expect that. We stopped at 3 locations and the final location was a full traditional Italian meal with desert. You will not leave hungry! A little history sprinkled in as you wander and eat. Anita was a delight!
Worth every penny. Cocktails, delicious appetizers and a 3 course meal prepared by an 82 year old Italian chef.

This was not worth the money we paid for it. There were only two of us on the tour. The tour guide was a pleasant person but started our tour by explaining where we would be going and that we would be going on a private ferry as well. The tour started in the Old English clothing store and for about 20 minutes we heard about what men wear in Bermuda. Quite a boring way to start off this “Food” tour. Then we went to our first stop. We had an appetizer of Gnocchi which was good. The drink we got was a drink made with gin and had a charcoal liquor in it. Not tasty at all. During the appetizer the tour guide took out her phone and said her boss was texting her to tell her that the ferry ride was cancelled. Then she told us ok we will have to just move on without the ride on the ferry. We went on to an Asian fusion place and got some pork potstickers and some fried rice and of all things a Leechee martini. It was awful. At this point I just wanted to leave. But we moved on to Little Venice where we had a glass of Persecco. Then we watched a man make us a very small portion of pasta that he made in front of us. Next we got our dinner . It was veal with a little salad on the plate that was so salty I couldn’t eat it. Then we were given a tiny piece of tiramisu. At this point The tour guide told us she had to go and said we would be getting some lemon-cello and some biscuits before we left. Well that never came. And nobody came back to our table so we got up and left. We did tip the tour guide rather generously even though we were not happy and we tipped the server as well. This was not worth the 338.00 that I paid and I would expect a partial refund for the “private ferry” ride that we did not get and for the after dinner drinks that never came. Very disappointing and I would not recommend this tour to anyone else.

As well as being a food tour it is also an historical and cultural tour of Hamilton and Bermuda, how it all began in 1609 when the British crash landed here and how it has evolved with other cultures arriving and how this has influenced the food scene on the island. We do start the tour off with the story of the Bermuda shorts and how they came to be but the tour guide tells me your husband was a history buff and he enjoyed the stories. The cocktail at your first stop is the restaurants signature cocktail and they cleverly added actual charcoal which is super healthy and stops one from getting a hangover so hopefully you would have felt the benefits the following day. I'm sorry you didn't like the dumplings, fried rice or lychee martini at the fusion restaurant, I can appreciate that not everyone is going to like dumplings. This restaurant showcases the asian influence that is now part of the Bermuda food scene. The owner of the Italian restaurant makes his famous caccio y peppe for guests in a giant parmesan cheese wheel and then sets fire to it. Most people say they can't eat all the food as it's too much not too little. The tour lasts 3 hours and as it was your anniversary the tour guide wanted to give you some privacy to linger for as long as you wanted and went to ask if the restaurant would send over some extras of biscotti and limoncello. I do apologise that these didn't turn up. I can only imagine the restaurant must have been very busy and as this is not one of the courses, the server must have forgotten. It was extremely generous of you to tip the server but not necessary as this is included in the ticket which includes all the food, alcohol and tour guide. With regards to the ferry, this belongs to one of the restaurants we sometimes go to. They provide the ferry for their guests as one can't walk there but this is not part of the cost of the ticket. It is such a shame when things breakdown and I can understand how disappointed you must have been, but sometimes these things are beyond our control. We always check in the morning with all of the restaurants to confirm and the ferry was working in the morning, but just as the tour started we were notified so we had to call the tour guide to let her know, hence why she was on the phone for a few minutes. We will discuss all your feedback and the points you have raised and we thank you again for taking the time to write. We do hope that you enjoyed the rest of your trip to Bermuda.
Had an amazing time with Mike. It was just the two of us and him and we had such a good time, we could have stayed all night exploring! Would recommend this to anyone visiting.

It was a nice tour but I didn't like some of thr food selections like the tuna tar tar and the veal at the Italian restaurant. The first stop was my favorite including the food and drink we tasted there
The food tour was the highlight of our Bermuda trip! Michael was a wonderful host, and the food choices were fabulous. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting the other guests. It was a wonderful evening. We will recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bermuda.

I had a great time on this food tour. The tour ended up being just the two of us. December tends to be a bit of the off season. We had three major stops on the tour. We went to an Asian fusion location, a local steakhouse, and a Italian place. Each place was delicious. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the area and we got to learn a lot more about the Hamilton area.

We visited 3 restaurants and all were excellent The first an Asian restaurant we had an appetise of dumplings and a lychee martini The second was a well known local restaurant and we had a fabulous tuna tartare along with pork belly appetizer and a spicy rum fruit cocktail The final stop was an Italian restaurant where we had a 3 course meal. The first course was pasta cooked in cheese wheel in front of us which was fabulous. The main course was veal in a lovely sauce and the desert was tiramisu which was also excellent. This was accompanied by a glass of Prosecco and a limoncello after dinner drink with biscotti Between the restaurant visits our guide Craig showed us many interesting places in Hamilton and was informative and friendly throughout the tour
