Berlin : KZ-Gedenkstätte Sachsenhausen

Our guide, Richard, was so knowledgeable and made it a very memorable experience. I was traveling solo and he made the group feel very comfortable, getting to know us as well.

It’s definitely one of the most educational experiences I’ve had yet! Ismael was our guide, just amazing! We got lost on our way to the meeting point because of transport that didn’t work and Alva helped us connect with the grupo. I would definitely repeat this!

This is an intense experience that people must have. Imagining what would have happened around those times can be overwhelming and numbing. Our tour guide Beny was informative and objective about the story and the place ! He was good at what he was doing It’s an experience which is humbling and unmissable.

We went on this tour and were delighted. Our guide was Vicent and she was wonderful. It turned out that that day they were just detonating a World War II bomb, a fact that, she told us, happened often, but that day they did not notify anyone in advance, so we were lucky to arrive at the town to start the visit to the concentration camp, since shortly after they cut off public transport. The visit went wonderfully and Vicent kept us hooked on her explanations the whole time, with extraordinary oratorical skill. Then, to return to Berlin, because of the transport cuts, we had to take replacement buses and Vicent made sure that each of us arrived at our next point as soon as possible and safely. A 10/10 for Vicent.

Allow for the travel time for your days plans as well as the time for the tour, especially if you wanted to stay on and look around the camp more. Pete was a very informative guide giving us lots of interesting side bits of information as we made our journey to and around the camp.

Highly recommended tour ,Our guide Richard was so knowledgeable while guiding us round the memorial in a respectful way .His presentation was measured and inclusive and gave us a real feel for what had happened .Thoroughly enjoyed this tour and would recommend it

I booked the tour last minute, it was very efficient, the tour guide was full of knowledge and very helpful, the only thing we had difficulties with was needing to buy train tickets before as there was no information about what tickets to buy, so at the underground station there are yellow DBV kiosks you can buy a 24 hour pass for 12.50.. they recommend the 4 trip ticket but worked out more expensive.. overall a very enjoyable but sombering experience.

Excellent experience!! Guide was so knowledgeable about the History. Very hot day to explore, but our guide accommodated us with speaking in shaded areas and ensuring we had access to water. By far the best tour on our trip to Berlin.
