Sachsenhausen war das erste eigens errichtete Konzentrationslager, das als Zentrum des Terrors, der Verfolgung und systematischer Brutalität entstand. Zunächst inhaftierte sie diejenigen, die das NS-Regime als rassistisch, sozial oder politisch unerwünscht erachtete. Reisen Sie durch die Stadt Oranienburg und erfahren Sie, wie die lokale Gemeinde mit dem Lager verbunden war. Ihr Experte, lizenzierter Fortgeschrittener führt Sie durch wichtige Orte wie Strafzellen, Krankenstation, Kaserne, Gaskammer und Krematorien und teilt dabei eindrucksvolle Geschichten von Widerstandsfähigkeit und Mut unter Gefangenen. Die Tour besucht auch das Inspektorat der Konzentrationslager, das Verwaltungszentrum, das das nationalsozialistische Lagersystem in ganz Europa kontrollierte. Dies ist eine vollständig geführte und stressfreie Erfahrung. Nehmen Sie den Zug von unserem Treffpunkt in der Nähe der S+U Friedrichstraße nach Oranienburg. Oranienburg ist die Stadt, in der das ehemalige Konzentrationslager errichtet wurde.
Fahren Sie mit unserem Führer zur S-Bahn Oraninenburg. Bei einem Spaziergang durch die Stadt erfahren Sie, wie mitschuldig die Einwohner waren, und sehen, wo die Häftlinge gearbeitet haben.
Sachsenhausen ehemaliges Konzentrationslager. Kommen Sie zum ehemaligen Lager und gehen Sie durch die Innenräume des ersten Lagers, das speziell für ein Konzentrationslager gebaut wurde, ohne bestehende Strukturen zu nutzen. Sehen Sie die alten Baracken, Gefängniszellen und Folterzellen, Lagerküche, Station Z (wo Massenhinrichtungen stattfanden), Gaskammer und Krematorium. Sie werden auch die Krankenstationen und Pathologiezentrum sehen, sowie Turm A - der Hauptwachtturm.

We went on a tour guided by Xavier. He was an incredible guide providing lots of context and facts but with an engaging tone and pace. It was easy to follow and he explained in depth the sights and stories of the concentration camp.

We had Irish Paul as our tour guide to Sachsenhausen and we wouldn’t have had it any other way. Paul approached this historically and emotionally-complex topic with a laudable balance of fact and feeling - delivering a depth of knowledge in a manner which demonstrated clear empathy for, not only the groups affected in that time period, but also those who continue to be affected by similar regimes to this very day. he also gave us some great local pastry and bar recs! cheers paul for expanding our minds and our palettes!

This tour was easily one of the highlights of Berlin. Our tour guide Emma was so passionate and knowledgeable about the history, making every step of the tour an informational and fun one. She started off with some ground rules that we should know, set our expectations, and explained her background as a guide, making us feel very assured that we were in good hands. During the tour, we were kept on track and on time, and given a comfortable amount of time for each area that we were able to explore. Emma did well in adjusting things on the fly to rearrange how we visited the museums, ensuring that the route made sense but we hit as little crowds as possible. Her explanations were detailed and she was always open to answering questions. It is a somber place to visit, and she did a fantastic job at being educational and giving everything the respect that it deserved, while keeping us aware of anything that we could back out of if we felt it would be too much to handle. We could not have asked for a better organized or better run tour, and are very glad we picked this one.

The tour of the town and camp is interesting and moving. Our guide, Rohan, was very knowledgeable and pleasant. Be prepared for a LOT of walking. The day was hot, so that didn't help the walk. I still highly recommend the tour. A great amount of history shared.

Very powerful experience I was not satisfied with the guide. He seemed unwilling to answer questions and was very dour. The trip was supposed to end at 5 but it ended an hour early and we had no breaks on a very hot day.
