Berg Estrela, ganztägig ab Coimbra
Beschreibung
Als erstes Ziel besuchen wir das höchstgelegene bewohnte Dorf Portugals auf 1050 Metern über dem Meeresspiegel, Sabugueiro. Wir spazieren eine Weile durch die Stadt und lernen eine der ältesten portugiesischen Schäferhundarten kennen, den Serra da Estrela Dog. Wir werden die Reise mit dem Ziel auf der Spitze der Berge fortsetzen, aber zuerst passieren wir einige ikonische Orte in den Bergen: Mondeguinho; das Dorf Manteigas; das Zêzere-Gletschertal und Covão da Ametade; auf der Spitze von 1996 Metern haben wir den Torre. Sie haben die Möglichkeit, den berühmten Queijo von Serra auf eigene Faust zu probieren, den typischsten Käse der Region und auch mit den Würsten. Danach beginnen wir die Abfahrt durch das Skigebiet, Lagoa Comprida und Senhora von Desterro. Wir schließen die Tour mit der Ankunft am Startpunkt um 17:00 Uhr ab.

We misunderstood that it was a hiking tour. Xavier was so flexible to change the itinerary on day, and even brought outdoor cloths to hike with us. We went for a beautiful scenic hike and we enjoyed it so much!

It was amazing. Xavier is excellent. Pontual, familiar with the local culture, very friendly, always seeking to please us to the maximum. and It was a day of breathtaking landscapes and to know the famous cheeses of the region, breads and presumpts Waterfalls and fresh lakes in the middle of nature. On a summer day you can even bathe in the waterfall. Have fun. I highly recommend this tour.

Punctuality, sympathy and impeccable service! We were me and my companion, we left at the scheduled time and we met various places without prey, with tranquility and in the great company of Xavier who explained the history of the places where we passed, in addition to pleasant conversations or as we would say the Brazilians of "good chat."

Xavier was an extraordinary accompanist. He listened to us throughout the day and appreciated that he communicated with us in our language when we had difficulty making ourselves understood. The visit was a wonderful surprise. We did not expect to see such beautiful natural pools.
