Reise zu den Schieferdörfern der Serra da Lousã, einer Gruppe kleiner, über die Berge verstreuter Hirtendörfer. Der Besuch beginnt im Dorf Cerdeira, mitten im Herzen der Berge. Es ist ein Ort künstlerischer Inspiration, der auf der Kunst- und Handwerksschule basiert, die Kunst und Kreativität im Einklang mit der Stille und dem umgebenden natürlichen Reichtum fördert. Wir fahren weiter durch das Dorf Candal. Eingebettet in die Berge auf einem Hügel in Richtung Süden geht der Besucher durch die engen, steilen Straßen und genießt vom Aussichtspunkt aus die wunderschöne Aussicht über das Tal. Das Dorf Talasnal, das größte und am besten erhaltene. Die Entdeckung des Dorfes durch die engen, steilen Straßen des Hügels ist zeitlos. Nach dieser „Zeitreise“ zu unseren ländlichen Vorfahren kehren wir nach Coimbra zurück.

Das Schieferdorf Cerdeira liegt mitten in den Bergen und zeichnet sich durch seine natürliche Schönheit aus. Das Schieferdorf Candal ist dank seiner guten Erreichbarkeit das am besten gelegene, erschlossene und meistbesuchte Dorf. Eingebettet in die Berge auf einem Hügel in Südlage spaziert der Besucher durch die engen, steilen Straßen und genießt vom Aussichtspunkt aus die wunderschöne Aussicht über das Tal.
Das Schieferdorf Talasnal ist das größte und am besten erhaltene. Das Dorf mit dem größten Charisma, ausgestattet mit einer natürlichen Umgebung, die uns in eine magische Welt eintauchen lässt. Das Dorf durch die engen, steilen Straßen des Hügels zu entdecken ist zeitlos. Es gibt Gassen zu entdecken, Treppen hinauf- oder hinunterzugehen und Balkone zu bewundern. Hier vereinen sich Natur und menschliche Hand.

It was a rainy and foggy day so that definitely impacted the beauty. But we made the best of it. It was a long drive up winding roads. So I'm sure it's lovely on a sunny day. Would have been nice to sit with a coffee and take it all in!

It was a great tour off the regular tourist track. Our guide Pedro gave us a lot of history and explanation. He was a wealth of information not just about the villages but Portugal in general. He gave us plenty of time to walk around and take in the beautiful, picturesque villages. Highly recommend if you are in Coimbra.

Xavier is an easy going, fun and informative guide. We really enjoyed walking thru three villages stopping for tea prior to leaving. The villages are extraordinary the views breathtaking

Xavier provided a wonderful half day experience. He is very knowledgable , and although he had to change his normal route because of the car rally, we still experienced and enjoyed the villages and the architecture and the scenery. Amazing!

It was a outstanding trip. Our guide Xavier, was fantastic. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Visited 3 villages, and had a nice coffee and Biera brake. I highly recommend this trip.
