Wat Benchamabophit Dusitvanaram ist ein buddhistischer Tempel im Dusit-Bezirk von Bangkok, Thailand. Auch als Marmortempel bekannt, ist er einer der bekanntesten Tempel Bangkoks und eine wichtige Touristenattraktion. Es ist ein typisches Beispiel für Bangkoks kunstvollen Stil mit hohen Giebeln, abgesetzten Dächern und kunstvollen Verzierungen.
Wat Pho (der Tempel des liegenden Buddha) oder Wat Phra Chetuphon befindet sich direkt hinter dem Tempel des Smaragd-Buddha - ein Muss für jeden erstmaligen Besucher in Bangkok. Als einer der größten Tempelkomplexe der Stadt ist er berühmt für seinen riesigen liegenden Buddha, der 46 Meter lang und mit Blattgold bedeckt ist.
Wat Traimit in Bangkok ist dafür bekannt, eine 5,5 Tonnen schwere Statue eines sitzenden Buddha zu beherbergen. Die Goldskulptur stammt aus dem 13. Jahrhundert und ist fast 5 Meter hoch. Dieser reich verzierte Tempel in Chinatown Bangkok liegt etwa 450 m westlich vom Bahnhof Hualampong.
Das Democracy Monument wurde 1939 zum Gedenken an die Revolution von 1932 ins Leben gerufen, die die absolute Monarchie beendete und Siams erste Verfassung einführte. Die Gestaltung des Denkmals ist voller Symbolik. Zum Beispiel sind die vier Flügel jeweils 24 Meter hoch und kennzeichnen das Datum der Unterzeichnung der neuen Verfassung am 24. Juni. Bedeutsam ist auch die Lage des Denkmals zwischen dem alten Großpalast und dem Dusit-Palast. Eine Kopie der ursprünglichen Verfassung befindet sich im zentralen Sockel.
Bangkoks Chinatown ist eine beliebte Touristenattraktion und ein Paradies für Feinschmecker der neuen Generation, die nach Sonnenuntergang hierher strömen, um die pulsierende Straßenküche zu erkunden. Tagsüber ist es nicht weniger voll, da sich eine Schar von Käufern auf diesem 1 km langen Streifen und der angrenzenden Charoenkrung-Straße versammelt, um einen Tag mit Grundnahrungsmitteln zu verbringen, Gold zu tauschen oder einen der chinesischen Tempel zu besuchen. Mit vielen Marktständen, Restaurants an der Straße und einer dichten Konzentration an Goldgeschäften ist Chinatown ein Erlebnis, das Sie nicht verpassen sollten

A very informative tour, our guide was brilliant! He went into great depth about the history and origin from the temples and even when we travelling to temples by taxi he would explain some of the Thai history in things we passed. The temples were stunning and we had more than enough time in each one, the guide didn’t rush us and gave us space to explore as well as expanding the key parts to begin with. Would recommend to anyone looking for half a day temple tour.

The whole trip was indeed value for money. we were able to capture lots of instagram worthy pictures. The historical background from the tour guide made it more interesting. We were in awe with their artistry and creativity, fascinated by their rich culture. Amazed how they were able to preserve important landmarks. A well executed tour, and a must-do for visitors to Bangkok. While you can visit these temples on your own, visiting them through this tour with a guide makes all the difference. Our guide Nan spoke very good English. Our favourite temple was the one with Reclining Buddha.

Tour ok but honestly all the temple trips a very similar. This one is good if you are limited on time but much of what you we had already done by tuktuk druver and pruvate boat trip
If you are planning to visit the main temples in Bangkok is a good way to visit them. This period of the year it is extremely hot at this tour eases the visit. I didn’t like the end of the tour when the take you to visit a mall to buy some jewellery.
On time pickup. Fabulous guide '''Mr. Prai' he kept us all engaged throughout the tour. I would like to add that he was very good. This tour is a must if you want a quick look at the important temples and main city areas.
