Die Abtei von Sante Flora und Lucilla ist eine Kirche in Arezzo, die sich auf der Piazza della Badia befindet und die Relikte der heiligen Märtyrer Flora und Lucilla beherbergt, die angeblich vom Bischof nach Arezzo gebracht wurden
Es wurde zwischen dem 14. und 15. Jahrhundert erbaut und befindet sich in der Via dei Pileati. Es zeichnet sich durch die mit den Wappen der Florentiner Podestàs und Kommissare, die die Stadt regieren, bedeckte Fassade aus. Heute beherbergt es die Arezzo-Bibliothek.

Marco gave us the most wonderful tour of this undiscovered gem of a town. We were able to visit churches with incredible frescoes and not have to complete with crowds to view them. Around every corner of this gorgeous little town we discovered art, music and history. Thanks Marco, it was one of the highlights of my Italian holiday!

Total immersion in the construction site of the largest contemporary mosaic in Europe, the Andreina Mosaic with Indicator. Private visit with the artist who explained the history of the mosaic and the stages of its realization. We booked the private tour from the mosaic site, great Welcoming and wonderful place.
