Unser Guide empfängt die Gäste vor diesem Museum. Die Gäste besuchen das Museum für etwa 30 Minuten und fahren mit der Straßenbahn weiter zum Archäologischen Hauptmuseum von Istanbul. Dieses Museum gehört zur Universität Istanbul und beherbergt eine reiche Sammlung von Artefakten aus der antiken anatolischen, griechischen und römischen Zivilisation. Es befindet sich in Beyazıt und bietet Besuchern einen Einblick in das historische und kulturelle Erbe der Region.
Unsere Gäste besuchen dieses atemberaubende archäologische Museum mit ihrem Guide für eine Weile, dann haben sie etwas Freizeit im Inneren und im Garten des Museums. In der Nähe des Topkapi-Palastes befinden sich die Istanbuler Archäologiemuseen mit einer beeindruckenden Sammlung antiker Artefakte. Mit Exponaten aus Mesopotamien, Anatolien, Griechenland und Rom bietet es einen tiefen Einblick in die reiche Geschichte der Region. Zu den Höhepunkten gehören der Alexander Sarkophag und der Vertrag von Kadesch, der älteste bekannte Friedensvertrag der Welt.
Dieser Park bildet den Abschluss der Tour. Die Gäste können Tee und Kaffee im Garten trinken und sich vom Reiseleiter verabschieden.

Mısır Çarşısı (Gewürzbasar) ist einer der lebendigsten und geschichtsträchtigsten Marktplätze Istanbuls und liegt im Stadtteil Eminönü in der Nähe der Galatabrücke. Im 17. Jahrhundert als Teil des Komplexes der Neuen Moschee erbaut, wurde sie ursprünglich durch Steuern finanziert, die aus Ägypten eingezogen wurden – daher der Name "Ägyptischer Basar". Berühmt für seine bunten Stände voller Gewürze, getrockneter Früchte, Kräutertees, Süßigkeiten und Souvenirs, bietet der Basar eine sensorische Reise durch die Aromen und Aromen der türkischen Kultur. Es ist ein perfekter Ort, um lokale Geschmäcker zu erkunden, authentische Produkte zu kaufen und die lebhafte Atmosphäre eines osmanischen Marktes zu erleben, der heute noch lebendig ist.

We had a wonderful adventure visiting the Istanbul Archeological Museum with Taner. He is very knowledgeable, communicates excellently in English and is an all around interesting and pleasant guy. It was the first day of El Al-Asha holiday, and many sights were closed, so we decided to take this tour as the archeology Museum was open. We lucked out as we had such a personable guide who gave excellent explanations about the ancient artifacts and told us colorful stories. We enjoyed our time with Taner and came away feeling we also got to spend some time with a local and learn a bit more about life in Istanbul.

Deniz is the best tour guide i have ever had. He is literally a walking encyclopaedia about the history of Turkey, providing only the most relevant, interesting and meaningful information. Entrance to the museums and cafes was a breeze, I didn't need to lift a finger as Deniz anticipated my needs and went out of his way to ensure I was happy with the tour. We had a tea break at an art cafe that was a hidden gem as it had unique, original artworks on display as well as for sale (and artists creating work onsite) and delicious food and coffee. I could not recommend this tour more highly, specifically because Deniz ensured it was unforgettable. Thank you so much!
