Die antike Stadt Antge in Perge befindet sich im Stadtteil Aksu, 17 Kilometer vom Stadtnamen entfernt. Die als "Parha" bekannte Stadt, von der angenommen wird, dass sie in der hethitischen Zeit überlebt hat, wurde in der Römerzeit zu einer der am besten organisierten Städte in Anatolien. Die bei den Ausgrabungen in der antiken Stadt ausgegrabenen Skulpturen, die für ihre Architektur und Marmorskulptur bekannt ist, haben das Antalya Museum zu einem der wichtigsten Skulpturenmuseen gemacht. Der Stadtplan von Perge basiert auf zwei Hauptstraßen an der Ost-West-Straße und der anderen an der Nord-Süd-Straße. Das Theater mit einer Kapazität von 15.000 Menschen ist gut erhalten. Das zweistöckige Gebäude Gebäude M.S. Es wurde im 2. Jahrhundert erbaut. Die hier gefundenen Artefakte werden heute im Antalya Museum in der "Perge Theatre Hall" ausgestellt. Die Perfektion dieser Skulpturen spiegelt den Stil der Perge-Skulptur sehr gut wider. Die Grundstruktur der antiken Stadt Perge, eines weiteren Stadions, ist eines der am besten erhaltenen Stadien der Türkei.

A great value and a must-see if you are in Antalya. This tour takes you back in time 2,000+ years ago. Our guide was so knowledgeable and a great storyteller for each place. Despite the hot weather, the tour was paced well with a restful break in the air conditioned bus between each site. The lunch was delicious - traditional Turkish buffet.

Great activity - Perge & Aspendos theatre are truly spectacular sites of Roman Architecture. Ozzie is a superb guide with excellent history knowledge of SIDE and his country - even the stop for lunch was great - decent meal overlooking a picturesque view of a beautiful river. Highly recommended.
